but for you people, waitlist number was given much before... just after the results were declared.
why not same for us?? why are they keeping us in dark till 15th June..

For us, the waitlist number was not declared. we were just informed of our WL range (eg. 20-30, 50-60, etc) when we called over the phone. well, tats wat i heard as I was confirmed in the 1st list itself.
I am not very sure about this june 15 thing. Very likely to have mixed it with may15.. (my guess!!)

yes, Even I called the admission ofyc today

they told me that new list will be shown on website by the evening, and they are not going to tell the waitlist number atleast by 15th of june... :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

15th of june is a joke...I think you heard it wrong....or there was an inadvertent error from their side...its may 15th I guess...surely cant be june 15th...:wow::wow:

she told : thy r updatin nw.. it ll b done by aftrnoon or by evenin for sure",,,
they ll only tell wethr u r selected or still waitlisted" for any other info. u hav to call later...

hi puys! this is Sahil here.. i'm new to pagalguy.. though hav been followin this thread.. evn me in d boat of waitlisted candidates.

jus spoke to Mr. Sudeep and he said that d list of the selected candidates wil be uploaded by d evening. i asked weather d candidates who are not selected wil get their w/l numbers to which he clearly replied "NO, we are not giving any waitlist nos this year." :shock: :banghead:

and yep one more thing i clarified- the results for the new courses wil be given aftr 15th MAY and not 15th JUNE.. i asked for a rough date for the same and he said maybe by 20th of this month.


PS: i hav gut feeling tat this year the number of ppl waitlisted is actually very huge.. considerin d fact tat Mr. Sudeep himself clarified to me "since we hav givn the waitlist for all the courses, the w/l list mite look a bit long".. my guess is tat for a total of 360 seats they must hav givn a waitlist of around 700+ students and tats why they not givin d w/l numbers this year. (just a personal opinion)

I had one doubt. Did he mean the list of selected candidates as per the previous announcement, or the list of candidates who are selected after some of the previously selected candidates have withdrawn their admissions?

i think d new list tats gonna be out today will be for those students who had previously been waitlisted but hav now been confirmed cos of the ppl who hav rejected the offer.

but the worrying factor is tat d ppl who are not selected wil stil be in total darkness cos thier result wud stil be same - you hav been waitlisted for pgdm.. widout any w/l number!

Exactly. I don't think we're going to see any updated "list" of students on the website or any change in any candidate's status till the time all the seats are filled up.
All we can do is wait for a person who was previously wait listed and has now been included in the Final list to post here!! :wow: :|

I said the same 10 days back people groaned at me now i am saying another thing nothing will happen today might be another 70 will get their status and rest god knows yaar this is one of the worst ways of admission procedure going around they dont have AICTE approvals and stated 3 new courses never in that update they mentioned that they dont have aicte approvals now they are coming and saying wait we wont dsclose etc etc how immature an answer was this i am at waitlist no 900 tell me the same it must be the way and regarding the results link hope they change the name as update etc:|

This sure is a really weird way to give admissions.. TAPMI is a great college.. they should have managed it in a much better manner. Keeping so many students in dark is absolutely not the best way to manage their waitlist and admission process. Moreover that AICTE funda is also very troublesome for those who are expecting a call from IB or BFS.

Moreover there is still no course curriculum for the MBA (IB) course on the website. I mentioned this after my GD/PI to the interviewers and they said they were not aware of it and will take care of it. I think these are the very crucial things that shouldn't have been an issue in the first case. If you are introducing a new programme, you should put the courses on your website...its common sense.

I am sure many of you must be agreeing with me. Seniors, can you please convey these things to the admission office. It is definitely not helping the image of TAPMI to get better. And we guys surely don't want it to get worse.

TAPMI is NO DOUBT a great college.. only we are being impatient.
During interviews, they had made it clear that they would be declaring the result by 10th May.. good that they managed releasing it one week in advance on 3rd May..
They had also told students about pending AICTE approval of remaining 60 seats..They don't want to keep us in dark.. that's the reason they have put it on hold..

and yes.. the curriculum for IB, what I feel is there might be a possibility that they go for affiliation from Manipal Univ.. in that case course idea may differ.. (my personal opinion) as it's a case with some universities that colleges follow the university curriculum.
It's an experienced college and I strongly feel once the results are out and the waitlists are cleared.. we all would just love joining TAPMI..

Why can't we just trust the reputation of TAPMI?
It's just a matter of choice.. No one is forcing us to join the institute.. Let's keep faith in them.. and wait..They are definitely going to make it clear sooner or later..
