Hi friends,
I contacted the HR SPOC for TCS and have learnt that TAS shortlisted candidates have already been send mails. They are not putting up a list of shortlisted candidates..its through mails they have already informed candidates. So guys do keep checking ur inbox for the awaiting goodnews.

Has any one present in the forum recieved the short listed mail.??

According to her the mails were dropped on friday itself..but then I still can't beleive that none of us on the forum have received the mail.
Pls if any of us have received the mail..pls do update on the forum..

All we recd was a generic email on Thu informing abt the workshops .... I wonder if she is referring to that?

will have to keep waiting I guess .......

Hey, did anyone attend the workshop in the weekend? Did they say anything about the shortlisting there?

I just got word from TCS SPOC that the shortlist will be out by EOD. I think she was referring to the workshop email which was sent out on Friday.

Hi Just Spoke to Dharna... according to her we will know the shortlist by EOD and should (as she said) be updated on TAS website. Amittm1985 can you tell us whon did you speak to???

There is so much of confusion .....
I guess the suspense will only be out by EOD on TAS website or if someone from us receives a "Happy" email from TAS ... Until then ..... just keeping my fingers crossed. ......

I just called up Dharna and she said that she is currently in the midst of her final evaluation and says that it might get late as well. In her words - "If you check it tomorrow also it will be fine" :banghead:

Yeh itna scary kyon hai????

Wooowww ..... tht makes it so better ......... and they say they are still in the middle of the final evaluation and will be done by EOD !!!!! that sure is surprising ..... ... well hope they select a lot many people for the next round ...... and may all of us in this forum at least move to the next round ....

Honestly, either they've had a barrage of forms this year or they are getting too selective or they are planning to call more people this time. Being in the midst of the final evaluation means not even compiling the list yet. The list last year had 123 names if I am not wrong, and just making a neat and clean PDF doc itself will take them around 2 hours and then checking to see if no name has been left out. Add to it the fact that the lady doing the evaluation is a 2009 recruit at TAS from IIML!!! Does this mean we will be evaluated like IIMs evaluate apps?????

Main toh abhi say hands-up kar raha hoon!

The wait continues ..... When will their EOD happen ..... guess nothing will be out until tomorrow morning ...... Hope the end result is good .....

I was going through the Pagal Guy thread for TAS 2009.
Seems like the shortlist was slated to be out by 30-April, last year.

However, candidates of different zones (geographies) received confirmation as late as 5-May.
Some got phone calls, others received email confirmation. Some even received confirmation from their managers.

Seems like we may have to wait longer than expected 😞

From where did u get the list? It doesnt seem to be there on the site..
