Hi All
Welcome to new set of TAS aspirants...
Here we shall help ourself with discussion on IN house and its procedures.
Well I m preparing for GMAT now and what should be cut off for the inhouse side?
I read in previous threads that 700 + was cut off..
all the best and let the thoughts grow...
Hi Ajeet
Thanks for starting this thread. I was also thinking about the same.
Official GMAT cut off for In house candidates was 650 last year. I am however unaware of the cut off considered for interview calls.
Did you see 700+ cut off for interview?
Cheers

Hi,
I am completely unaware about TAS. Can somebody please help me with its full-form and little info about it?
Hello Everybody,
As far as I know TAS has the cut off of 650 in GMAT. Other than that, you need to have minimum 2 yrs. of work ex with a TATA group company and you should be less than 27 years of age.
P.S.- These are the criteria for TAS in house recruitment.
Regards
Amit
Hi Amit
Do you know the avg GMAT scores of candiates who recd an interview call?
Cheers
Pritesh Vora
Interview call depends on many parameters. GMAT score is just one of them. If the profile of the applicant is good, he can expect call with 660 also, whereas sometimes it goes upto 720 also.
Hope that clarifies.

Amit
Hi Puys,
Nice to see find this thread. I am also a silly soul attempting TAS 2010. Please keep on posting and mutually we will create a solid knowledge base.

Hey puys,
Another TAS aspirant.
Nice to see this thread in the first place.
As for the criterias: TAS always mentions only
A valid GMAT score.
2yrs completion in TATA group while applying.
Age less than 27 yrs while applying.
Last year the GMAT cut off was 650. The year before that it was 700.
One of the puy who got through TAS 2009 had a 660 GMAt but his profile was excellent.
Lets keep each other posted.
Cheers,
Ritesh
As far as I know, till two years back the age limit was also 26 years. Last year only they relaxed it to 27.
Hi All,
I am working with Tata Teleservices.
I need help on the age parameter.
I have completed 27 in Dec'09. Am I eligible for TAS 2010?
I tried to inquire from TAS office but no reply on that.
From TAS office I got telephonic confirmation but no proof of that.
Any idea about that?
Anurag
Dear Anurag,
TAS 2009 was asking for applicants below 27 on 31st march 2009. If the same criteria is applied next yr, then tey will ask for applicants below 27 on 31st mar 2010.

Amit

Dear shishirsuman
TAS stands for Tata Administrative Services.
It is a pseudo campus process. Employees of Tata Group of companies and a few students from select B School are eligible to apply for this process.
After the selection process, you will be groomed within the Tata Group for a couple of years before finally offering a stable position (and role) based on your learning and performance.
It is a short (but difficult) route to get a career jump and enter into a prestegious organization at a management level.
It tried to keep it short and for more details please refer the TAS2009 and previous threads.
