I am starting this thread due to the absolute lack of information about ECGC anywhere on the web. Even RBI grade B aspirants are not aware of the existence of ECGC. ECGC stands for Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India ltd. It is 100% government owned and is under the Ministry of Commerce.
ECGC locations
Present Salary structure:
17240+13102+1724+540+800 ( Basic+DA+HRA+CCA+Conveyance)
Note: This salary structure is due for revision wef 1/8/2012
Lease facility for House: Rs 10,000 lease amount is permissible. If any employee wishes to take house on rent, HRA amount will be deducted from the Salary.
WORK ENVIORNMENT
1) AVERAGE WORKING HOURS = Flexi time – Entry time ( 9.30 to 10.00 A.M.) and Exit Time ( 5.30 to 6 P.M.)
2) NO. OF WORKING DAYS = 5 working days per week
3) WORKING ENVIRONMENT = Work with pleasure and without any irritating pressure. Interaction with good quality customer only like Exporters and Bankers
4) WORK PRESSURE = (Low/Medium/Intense)- low to medium
POSTING : Mostly in South India (in exports location zone) with less people from south joining now, you will be mostly posted in South in places like Tirupur,Salem,Coimbatore Kochi.
No Rural Branch

Just saw a profile of a manager at ecgc,,he started working in 2006,,which means 8 years,,, which means promotions are not too slow as i expected them to be

Just. Saw Obc candidates with 52 nd 54 got d ecgc and me with 56.2 got my 2nd preference,of course ecgc Was first.
