Any news about assistant labour commissioner exam 2016.
Till now no information has been provided by UPSC that when they r going to conduct AC labour exam ....please tell any other exam except ApfC n civil which doesn't require special degree only graduation degree is enough.

As per latest DOPT model recruitment rules for the post of Labour Commissioner, One year experience is mandatory for ALC at 5400 gradepay recruitment... Hitherto experience was not part of essential qualification.... Then ALC posts cannot be recruited through Civils i guess.. Any comments on this are solicited...
Is 1 year ignou pgdm in hrm sufficient in order to be eligible for this exam.does upsc makes any distinction between personal management and hrm

2. Diploma in Labour Law with Administrative Law in Annamalai University
Am, I eligible for ALC (Central)?
Before Answering my query, please verify the notification on essential qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: A. EDUCATIONAL: i)Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Diploma in Social Work/ Labour Welfare/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management/Labour Law from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. DESIRABLE: Degree in law from a recognized University.)

I'm qualified with,
Diploma in LL with Admn Law => they are asking only Diploma in LL

*** In Tamilnadu Public Service Commission, Section Officer at Certificate Verification will scrunitize and reject us as incompetent on Educational Qualification. But I dunno about UPSC status.
Hence to clarify this, I have raised a RTI to UPSC.
But they have given an answer which is very "ambiguous".
Reply sent by post on 14/07/2016 from UPSC under RTI as,
"Essential Qualification laid down for various posts are notified in the advertisement as per Recruitment Rules."
Now, please clarify my above asked question...
