I am talking to many on this forum. Many of them are not from civil service preparation background. For them, don't worry. Just focus on strategizing your approach from past year papers. Don't leave the syllabus. There is plenty of time. Cover the basics at least. If easy question comes then you won't miss out. If tough question comes, nobody can do anything even if you have done phD on it. For people who have not read anything on history or geography I am going to post some links to cover the basics quickly in this short span of time. Only thing you just have to chill.
You should Target 50 minutes for essay section so that you can complete it within one hour in any case. I completed the paper 4-5 minutes before the paper. I don't have the habit of revision. So even if I got the time, I didn't revise. Treat essay like a 270-280 word answer and write it accordingly. Take one minute to have the structure and then just write. Problem of time management arises because people mismanage it in the essay section itself.
