Nirma is way ahead in terms of infrasturcture, faculty, good governance and transparency, and above all in rankings in all majorr surveys. Only advantage of Wellingkers is location. Other than that Nirma scores high in every respsct. Please choose Nirma and you will not regret. Having said that, Welingkers too is a good institute, with decent infrastructure and in placements it is even slightly better than Nirma. If you don't have Nirma in your bag, then you can choose Welingkers. According to me choice is clear. Wishing you all the best

am soo confused bout both the colleges coz so mnay ppl have been telling me welingkar is comin up ..n is better than nirma..sum sayin nima is way better..and frankly speakin hardly no anythin that concrete about either..
the list of placements in welingkar also is huge as compared to nirma but ofcourse thats not the only thing that matters to me..the quality is imp too..
ofcourse weling has the adv of place..
why do u think nirma is better??any experiences?..
i need to decide in a week..!

Yep. The Chennai centre has been scrapped. This is 'coz the number shortlisted was very low. All of them have been shifted to Bangalore.

As I said earlier, calls made were 2,500. Applications received were around 19K.
As regards cutoff, there is a consolidated score, exact cet scores are not known. They are with dte. lowest ranked person getting a call had a score of around 100 outta 150.
Of the 210 seats, there is the declared 5% mgmt. quota which is around 10 seats.
With 80 %ile in cat, i wud say u might scrape thru with a very good gd/pi.
the dates for the gd/pi are out, what remains is exact scheduling of the ppl at each location w.r.t. date and time. this shud b on the website by tuesday noon.
this is 'coz the mail server had problems sending the mails, both to indl. candidates and to the website admin.
mails will be sent to candidates shortlisted. This will be individual mails.
just for the sake of ppl. here are the final dates.
mumbai 5,6,7 and 8 may
delhi 30 apr and 1 may
kolkata 30 apr
bangalore 1 may
schedule about 2 hours for the entire process from your reporting time to the time u get out after the gd/pi and pt.

i presume the 150 aditya talkin abt is the score they are considerin i.e.
100 for Cat/cet score
20 for work ex..
5 for extracuricculars and so on.....
the cut off for tht score is 100 on 150!
