hey ppl,
i scored 85.12 in cat. got a call frm welingkars . wid no experience.
i also put some random seat no.s at hand and wid 90 percent accuracy they been issuin calls to every one around.

frm the msgs posted it seems, the competion is immense dis yr.

hey, wud guyz wid experince prefer welingkars ?

me in too....got a gd pi in delhi on 1'st of may

guys ...have a converted call from kj somaiya ....:)

so which one is better kj or wellingkar????? help....

i wonder wht makes u doctor.. a medical degree or phd..anyways juz kdding..sir even i hv call on 1st may at delhi south campus...got kj somaiya in waiting otherwise wud hv joined by now.. PLS DONT LEAVE KJ for WELINGKAR....SAME ID IS MY YAHOOCHAT ID...CONTACT ME IF POSSIBLE WE WILL MEET AT DELHI...

but needed some help ...have a final admission call from nirma ..and by the time welingkar call results are out..ill have to pay up for nirma,,

wht do i do???please help..am so confusedd..so nirma or welingkar better?? and how?/..

as far as my personal judgement goes...nirma is better..
i wud say if ur a mumbai local than welgkar should be prefered but if u r not than nirma shd be
only positive abt welingkar is location and nothin else
also i wud not suggest ppl with experience to go for welingkars...not worth it..u knw wot i mean

My cat percentile is 86.

1 yr work - ex..

Hey guys, i v got a call at 83.57 percentile. 2500 calls by them???? how n who got the numbers? nyway, its gonna b a tough battle:snipersm:. My center is mumbai and they'll give the details on 18th . ATB to all those shortlistd>>>>> 😃 😃

i got a call to.......very few seem to have been rejected .....me...cat 88.5 %tile... i think i have done much much better at the CET....

heyyy Jacob and kunal thanx so much for replyin wit da advice...

am soo confused bout both the colleges coz so mnay ppl have been telling me welingkar is comin up ..n is better than nirma..sum sayin nima is way better..and frankly speakin hardly no anythin that concrete about either..
the list of placements in welingkar also is huge as compared to nirma but ofcourse thats not the only thing that matters to me..the quality is imp too..
ofcourse weling has the adv of place..

why do u think nirma is better??any experiences?..

i need to decide in a week..!
any seniors from welingkar or nirma out here???..

hey got a call ! i guess everyones got it whoever applied. hope the placements and stuff are good here. existing student also told me abt tht donation thing, dont know if true.time will tell.5,6 may gdpi in mumbai.
best of luck to all, b4 the pathetic CET this seems to be the only hope .

and hey abt the donation thing..... when will they ask 4 it?? in da pi?

coz afaik, last yr they had a director's interview where it happened... i have only heard abt it.... dunno whether its thr or not... can u elaborate????

Yep. The Chennai centre has been scrapped. This is 'coz the number shortlisted was very low. All of them have been shifted to Bangalore.

The directors interview is only for ppl who have explicitly asked for admissions thru the 5% mgmt. quota. This is along with these students' parents. The only payment you will make is for the course fees.

No, the marks out of 150 will not be disclosed. This can create a regulatory issue with DTE, 'coz the college has a confidentiality clause with them regarding the MH-CET scores.

The college tho' has called ppl based on a merit list. The top 2,500 ppl have been called for gd/pi.
