As u've entered ur CET details, ur shortlisted based on tht (the col wud tke d scores directly from DTE) how else do u think u were shortlisted ??...cetainly not based on your photograph....too much for face value, huh?
and pls go thru the thread bfore posting...out of 19k applications, 2.5k have been shortlisted.
Oh my.. temper temper. Correct me if Im wrong but I dont think DTE can let out CET scores to any institute before the results are officially declared. Coming to the part about shortlisting-we did fill an application form with 25 essay questions-maybe that had something to do with it.
anyways wiz, they r sayin tht they have accessed CET scores from DTE and it was well explained by aditya in this thrd....
any ya the essays too are considered... as it is the cutoff as told is 100/150 which includes 100 mrks for CAT /Cet and rest 4 acads, extra curriculars form etc.....
even all moi frnds have got calls.. ppl who had a pathetic CET also have got calls!
so dunno abt the no of calls... the official like is 2500!!

helloo to all,, (for mumbai junta only) If I am right i think they mixed they cet and the cat people this way-- if u guys see closely they have sorted the people with the cat percentile in the ascending order i.e. the lowest on 5th may goin onto the highest on the 8th may.. and .. then if they have done that then the cet guys shud be in the descending order of marks .................
btw my gd/pi/pt is on the 5th may applied thru cet....
have done my bms in mithibai(2004).. 10mths work-ex

hey, i think they will atleast take 10 days before the announce the results (thats minimum no of days taken by institutes normally) and assuming that u will be selected on the first list u will still b give 15 days atleast to pay the first installment. so all in all it will be a month atleast from the date they finish their process.

mt carmel(its not caramel!! sorry couldn''t resist ) is faaaaar away frm gurgaon n i hav no idea whr saibabad is...so i guess its nearest frm khel gaon....my gd time is 10:15 otherwise i cud hav given u a ride till mount carmel...u can ask ppl for directions to anand niketan...u'll reach mt carmel aaraam se gudluck for both gd/pi as well as reaching the venue

and for u info...d last date for submission of forms was apr 10 (& i knw many ppl including me who sent d app-form on apr7/ and d results were out by april 15 so certainly d admin folks at welingkars arent doin night shifts to read essays... and i u go thru this thread, u'll see tht adits_pg has mentioned tht int wud b based more/less frm the info of application form...
my only concern against 'wiz' (u listening???) was 2 go thru d complete thread bfore posting.....guess hes been spoon feed all his life !! grow up kid !!!

also i believe those with high %ile in cat..with a ok gd n pi.. shud be thru as 1/3rd weightage is to CAT/CET score and another 1/3rd to gd n pi... lets c and hope the process is transparent and all deserving individuals get thru welingkar!
