my suggestion to you, is first appear for the gd/pi.Clear it.
Get selected & then decide whether yu wanna go for it or not, depending on the options avaiable and yer next immediate goal and yer long term goal

can you give a brief description regarding the diff in pgdba and ebiz program.... actually would like to knw more abt the ebiz prog... i mean its advantages ovr pgdba n vice versa... also which is preferred more ovr each other by the recruiters (i knw it depends on industry to industry... but than also which industry wud prfer ebiz ovr pgdba)

Mate..as far as i know...pgbe b8iz is tailormade for guys wid IT background..it basically is an MBA for IT professionals...grad or work ex...pgdbm is the general mba wid finance , marketing n stuff...
as far as placements go..wat ever sources i have spokenm to...all of them are in the view that pge biz has better placements by and large......

but wud still like to hear aditya's views.....i have applied for both....pgdba n e biz and thr wasa heavy stress abt ebiz q's in the essay forms.
besides this... i got a message (SMS) from welingkar yest.. congratulatin me for being shortlisted... any1 else got it too???????
reason for mentionin this is
1) no whr in my omr form or essay form i have mentioned my cell no.. the only way they cud have got it is thru cet details from DTE.... (so ppl thinkin tht evry1 who appeared 4 cet has a call can go 4 a ride)
also a frnd's frnd who had 72%ile in cat and a ok cet... dint get a call... so thr also the notion of evry 1 who has applied got a call.. goes kaboom!

Nope. Yes, the course hs technology content. But nothing stops someone with absolutely no IT background from doing the course. The aim of the course is aimed at technology (not IT) cos. Remember even HLL uses technology. So any co. wud love a tech-savvy mgr.

Please do get your facts rite. If the GD happens in a full audi, that'll make over 200 ppl in that GD, 4get getting to speak. Besides, that audi is only in mumbai.
As I said, earlier, the GD size will be 10-12.

is there any dress code for GD/PI at Welingkar...meaning wearing blazers for guys and saris for girls? What all documents have to be carried at the time of interview besides admit card.

i dont think so thr is any dress code as such.. but as any other gdpi formals wud be good to wear!
also they havent mentioned to carry yr certifcates... so dont... jus carry the things mentioned in the call letter!
