my gd/pi was strictly ok .. i wud rate like 6 or 7 out of 10..
it was my 1st gd/pi so i was a bit nervous but it was not very bad ..
and i think the rank also depends on percentile n work ex..

DOES that mean i m not selected for pgdbm .please reply asap.



these ppl called had opted to be considered for the retail course. their rank was below 300. they are the top 30 ppl after rank 300 who had opted for retail mgmt. course.

It can be one of two things.
1. u are in the reckoning for the PGDBM or PGPeB course, i.e. ur rank is between1 and 300.
2. your rank is after even those who were asked for the retail seminar.

What I meant to say was that the people who were called for the retail seminar were ranks 301 to 2,500 till we reached the figure of 30 people among these ranks.

It is not necessary that ranks 301 to 330 all opted for retail.

the retail course sounds interesting.. it wil have some add on subjects besides the usual subjects for Pgdbm...

The most likely structure of the course will be similar to the ebiz course. The major difference will be that instead of the ebiz spl. subjects in each semester, which are tech. subjects; these ppl will have spl. subjects in retail. I think this is what was hinted at yesterday.

Hey Aditya....my friend was called for the World Class Management course test this monday . Does that mean he too is out of the race for Welingkar's pgdbm course just like the people called for the Retail Management course?

i had gone 4 the seminar...
its like i have not been selected 4 pgdbm or pgebiz.. for bombay or bangalore
so after selecting 300 students . they again shortlisted 30 ppl 4 retail n so v 30 ppl were called 4 dat...
the course looks interesting lets c
and ur results as in pgdbm/biz wil be declared by 27 as said by them...
But finally watever it is atleast i came to know whethr i am selected or not cos the wait was actually killing ...

nope. wcm is a completely different course and has its own selection procedure. Your frnd must hv applied for it.

According to welingkar you are given scores out of 300. Here is the info:
There is NO CUT-OFF CAT Percentile / CET score to apply for the 2-year full-time PGDBM/PGPeB programs, but a short-list of 2500 students will be done on the basis of the below mentioned parameters.

Every1 waiting for Welingkar results plz tighten your seat belts. The ever elusive last week is here. Now lets see when they put up the short list. I believe that they already have the list as they could not have chosen the ppl for retail otherwise. So wats keeping them from posting the results? Cant see any work done on the site either!!!

i had my cet gd and pi at welingkar's 2day! so thought it fit 2 make a few enquiries abt the pgp e-biz and pgdbm results! asked quite a few ppl. 1 lady said that they mayb out by 2day evening!
while leaving, i managed 2 ask the person who looked like he was the authority in charge for conducting the cet gd and pi ( obviously he was a welingkar person)! HE ASKED ME 2 CALL UP WELINGKAR AFTER 4 PM ,TOMMORROW, ie on 26th.
this is the latest info, guys, from my side! mayb aditya can shed more light!
