buddy this is the procedure of online submission: Procedure for Online Admissions for the Post Graduate Programs 1.Login to the module, using the Username and password mentioned on the Application Kit. In case you have not yet purchased the Application Kit, you can do so from Welingkar Institute (Mumbai/ Bangalore/ Delhi/ Kolkata)and also from the nearest IMS,Career Launcher, Career Forum, Career Plan, Time, Professional Tutorials on cash payment of Rs. 1000, before the 31st January 2006 and the last date for submission is 7th February 2006 at Mumbai Campus Only. 2. On successfully logging in to the module, you would need to accept the terms and conditions, to proceed forward. 3. Fill in and submit a detailed Application form, as per the fields and instructions given. You can choose to edit the form at a future date. 4.On successfully filling in the Application form, you will be prompted to download the Essay form in PDF format. You will need to download and print the form and send the filled in Essay form to the "Welingkar Institute of Management" before the 7th February 2006.

hi this is abhishek from kolkata. i had a final call from wellingkar last year-for the e business course,bangalore.it was a last minute call-as i wasnt selected in the first list.i have arnd 3 yrs work ex in marketing n bpo.i decline the offer as i wanted mum campus,pgdbm and i thought i could do bettr nxt yr....... the only prob is tht since wellingkar carries out gdpi soo late(waiting for cet results)-pple have to drop it from their plan-as other institutes want u to deposit money and commit and thus u cant decline thm n risk on only wellingkar...n this results in lots of good students missing wellingkar too.bt wht to be done.this yr i aint applying due to this reason as i wont be able to ait till april end for their gdpi results!!!!! by the way i had 85.44% overall last yr with 99.6% in V.A,75% in Q.A and 34% in DI.....thts why maybe got last minute offer!!!!.i had pple with as low as 65% overall in mygdpi group(6-8 pple in each group). besties to all of u!!!
hey ppl.. i jus wanna know wat wil be the %ile scores for gettin a gd/pi cal from Welingkars.. i want to do specialisation in HR nd i m a fresher.. wit a good profile nd good extra curicullar activities.. does all tht help.. keep me posted,,
The welingkar Ad said they take both CET & CAT scores but the prospectus says only CAT:huh: .. and i know they take CET as well coz i applied last year....
many guys have answered to similar queries by saying log in and see in the form..ifi was to waste my id & password and find out that they only take cat...then i am screwed....
could somebody who has filled the online form please confirm that a CET score is accepted....
it takes both CET nd CAT, even m applying for it thru CET.still if u hv dought den better mail to WELINGKAR INST.

Hi guyz.. I have 92.26%ile total and breakups are DI (88.33), VA (88.66), QA (83.31). Should i apply to Welingkar? What are my chances for a call and what was the lowest %ile which converted last year (approx). I am considering applying to Welingkar . Will it be worth taking the risk? I am a fresher with 69.5% in B.E. and 81 (Xth) 71.4 (XIIth) and have pretty decent extracurriculars. ATB for your placements seniors.
hi superduk first of all congrats u got 92%centile, well u must apply to welingkar as there is a fair chance of u getting selected provided u perform well in gd, pi and pshco test
yes welingkar do gives importance to ur previous academic score which u have quite well
i am nt sure abt the lowest percentile of the student admitted bt i guess it wud nt be less thn 80 percentile

hi stepstosuccess in our earlier mails we have mentioned tht work-ex is given much importance in welingkar we have abt 60-70% of the class with work-ex in EBIZ course i am nt very sure abt the pgdbm ppl i guess it wud be more or less similar i guess least percentile to enter is 80 and we have ppl with 95-96 percentile as well in the class, also ppl with 8 yrs of work-ex bt we do have freshers as well one thing more welignkar gives equal weightage to its gd, pi process if u perform very well there u have a fair chance of entering. fill up the form and wait for th gd, pi process ok all the best mukta khanna PGP-EBIZ- 05-07 welingkar institute of mgt

Well you should definiely apply to Welingkars then....you have a good academic record...and though no work ex....i think you have a great chance of getting selected fot GD/PI atleast...... getting admission is diff ball game when it comes to welingkars.....you never know how they give out admissions.... there always seems to be something unexplainable to me ...and they dont give out ranks or merit list...nor they tell you the scores of your GD/Pi...not they tell you have they consider CAT scores for someone and CET for some...when both tests are so diff...
