I want know how can we compare pgdbm and pbp-ebiz in terms of course content and placements. Which one is better???
I have 93%ile in CAT, have 1.5 yrs workex in s/w industry and want to do sustems management only. As per my knowledge pgp-ebiz does not have systems specialization why is it so????
I know lot of queries , but can n e one share some info regardig this??

yes u are rt we guys dont have systems spec. in EBIZ
we have ops, mkting, finance, HR
bt ours is mostly like a dual specialisation we have the subjects like DBMS, MIS, Web technologies, Telecom, ITES, BPO in our first yr itself which are more like systems subjects and same is going to continue in the next yr
bt if u only want systems thn u shuld either join MMS or the PGDBM course
ur choice

ok ur percentile is very decent to get u addmission in welingkar
welingkar doesnt have any sectional cut off
bt yes u shuld have a decent overall percentile which u already have

with such a gud overall percentile u definatey stand a chance
welingkar doesnt look at ur individual perecntiles even if it is as low as 15 perecntile in one section
u can take my own example i have 99.9 perecntile in DI, 98.23 in quant and 19.99 in verbal with gud academic record and 2 yrs work-ex
i am here at welingkars
there are other examples frm my class who have poor sectional in one section bt still had higher perecentile and got calls
so be prepared fr the call
bt also be prepared fr gd and pi coz its gonna be very tuff
and welingkar has gud weightage given to gd, pi and pshyco test
all the best and do well

i have a scored89.65%ile (65%ile in quantverbal-94.25%ile and di-77.16%ile)..i have got decent acads..84.2 in class 10,90.6 in class 12 and 58%in b.a hons economics(from delhi university).also i have a bit of extra curricular in my CV...do i stand a chance in getting a call....i hav yet to purchase the form so if any senior can guide me that'll be great....

I have just purchased the application kit from CL's center and it says the last date for submission of forms is 31st december. Is it so? Also, can I apply on the basis of both CAT & CET.

If the last date was 31st December, you would not have been able to purchase the form!

Last date--31-1-2006, better of CAT/CET scores accepted.

Folks, does Welingkar take sectionals or overall scores????? I've a net of 77%tile, and 98%tile in VA. Any chances?????????

A CET MBA course is under syllabus prescribed by Maharashtra level state university. Its more rigid in structure and less amenable to change considering dynamic changes in the mgmt. world today. A CAT scores course say under Welingkars would probably be a PGDBA diploma, which is more preferable. Pick your choice.
