i got 85 odd inCAT dis yr..........n goin by dis thread i shud stand a chance fa a call.....i hv a work ex of 7 mths wid IDBI bk..............now is it a wrth while exp since it is fa jus 7 mths..............
now in interview wil dey ask que pretaining to GK or my job or acads..........wats ur opinion since u hv attended dis call earlier n u were almost in d same position as i m in now.....
wen will dey start giving calls i mean in which month.........
any useful tips dat u can share wid us of interview or GD .dat wil b really helpful

regarding yr query:
you should definitely get a call at yr %ile
most probably sectional cutoffs are not considered... sayin probably.. as i cant gurantee tht this yr they mite or mite not consider....
and yea... gdpis are held at all 4 metros... and thw whole process of gd/pi/pt test.. shud not take more then 2n and half hrs...or else we students will have to pay the price....
coz its a timed process right from the student enterin the campus to the time he/she exits....

p.s regarding any form queries, guyz plz call up the institute... am sure they will guide. you.....
also forgot to mention that JUMBO grp of DUBAI had also come to campus for placements and took 3 students for a huge packet of 10lpa.... that shatters another record at welingkar.....

Does it have a seperate independent building...??? and how big is it.....plus plz tell me whatever you can about the hostel and the instt as a whole....wat kind of a reputation does it enjoy.......is it reallty an instt that one should think about getting in.......btw3 i have 93.13%ile in CAT.........

definately 7months will count.provided u make it count.it should reflect in ur body language.and ur attitude.learn to lead the interview to ur strengths.trust me thy give u a fair chance.

dude its beautiful huge . It has 1 retail store at its entry and great classroms. I dont know bout wifi but its huge. wen u enter u feel as if u r getting into some good institute. Thats all i know

hey pple.Wellingkar gives it's own pgd degrees thru cat and cet scores and mms degrees thru cet entrance.wht i'd like to know is the pgd of the same level as mms here and are the placements same.cos i know mms is thru mumbai univ and is worth it's weight in gold but not too sure about the pgd.

last year i got a seat for the PGeB banglore-bt didnt take it up as wasnt sure.
i see there are few students from PGeB here.
so please post the placement designation,company name and salaries of the PGeB students.
im from bcom background.2 yrs IT sales exp and 2 years bpo.
bt i dont wanna be in technical jobs-i under pgeb isnt one-bt still....i wanna be in banking sector perhaps......so banks need managers for their netbanking/ecommerce....so i wanna know wht the placements are-not just the avrg-bt the designation offered-profile.
i know its a tough ask-bt senioprs plez provide the data to help us decide on pgeb-specially non engineers.

hey buddy no private nos. on PG, u wud be banned. am basically a kolkatan too though am based in baroda. got 95 overall in cat but poor sectional score in qa did me in, 53 percentile and 10 % score, didn't get calls from tapmi and nirma, got imi luckily. am gonna apply to welingkar now. had visited the campus two yrs back and it had great infrasturcture which wud be better now and obviously the placements this time have been great too. and add to that the locational advantage it enjoys and its global linkages so that welingkar becomes an obvious choice. gonna rush in form now as not much time is left i think.
btw welingkar seniors cud u give some idea abt the costs other than tution fees ?? its mentioned inthe brochure 30,000/- p.a. is the hostel charges, any other major costs ?? its obviously less expensive than icfai hyd but approx how much ?? waiting for ur replies

hi guys this is abhishek.last yr i had 85.44%ile in cat with 99 va,57qa and 34 in di.....converted a merit seat in pgeb banglore campus welingkar....didnt take it up though...
this yr i hav 76%ile in cat...still applying.bt seems wont be useful as welingkar delays gdpi and final results till cet results-april/may end and thus by tht time one alrdys has to book seat at other institutes.so most probably it will be waste of 1000 bucks as icfai atleast ill convert and have to pay 60k to confirm seat by 10th march
anyways abt the interview process lots of current studnts here to help us...bt i can contribute too as went though it last yr....psyco test is real clever-beware of trying to give false impressions....just b urself...
abt pi-pple say gk/ug books etc==well i did none of tht as i have 3 yrs work ex and am v confi abt interviews-and as expected i was in controll throughout....basically i found wellingkar to be nt very diffult to get through.
this yr however i may nt coz of poorer scores.

wat shud i write hen i don hav anythin significant to write i was a topper in my scool in class 12 wid 85%marks n 2nd in class 11........n nthing significant in clg......i did take part in plays n dramas n quiz stuff but don hv certificates to prove....
n abt interests dese r really funny driving car,watching cricket specially when india playing,i liked assisting my fader in business as i hav bn doin it since i was 14........offlate i was keen in mutual funds.............
n how shud i present my weaknesses as i hav to write 3 strengths n weaknesses....
i know its really irritating fa u to comment on dis kinda stuff..........but plz try to giv it a shot...........it wil b a gr8 help
