let me repeat my percentiles which i got in last yr CAT
DI-99, Quant- 98, and VA -19.99
i am thru front door and the frnd of mine abt whom i refered in the mail he is also there thru front door with gud percentiles in 2 sections and only 12 percentile in the quant section
i have always mentioned to u ppl that there is overall percentile consideration and also ur academics, work ex, how u perform in ur gd pi and the pysco test and and also on form filling
guys i request those who dont want to take addmission in welingkar shuldnt spoil the name and reputation of welingkar
and if u are so gr8 tht u can get thru big institutes thn wht are u doing in this thread better go to the other threads where u might be able to do this kind of stuff better
and as far as the aspirants are concerned this is my last mail to all of u

It's on the website dude. Though the text box is disbled as of now coz the CET forms are not out yet. And just go thru the CD. it also mentions taking CET scoes. I hope it helps.

AS per my knowledge goes....they just consider you overall percentile....but double confirm from someone....or else just browse thru the previous pages....I am pretty sure this query has been answered before...

I hope Mukta and u dont mind if I answer this...
In a Psycometric test....you are given two sentences at every stage...and you have to click on the one which is more true for you...
Eg:
A. I always speak the truth
B. I always give my 100% at work
Now you wish you could click both... but you have to choose one only...
There are around 50/70 such Qs...and they do repeat...I mean after the set i mentioned above you could get one later which is like this...
A. I always give my 100% work
B. I always provide help to my colleagues...
So when you have answered all of them...they will have a certain idea about your characted or something...dont really know how its calculted.... and the test really gets confusing once you are half way thru it....
Hope that gives you some idea about it...

i filled d online form ...n sent d downloaded pdf (essay) form (6 pages of it)..to welingkar. however...on da pdf...ur cat percentile doesnt appear.so is it dat u just hav to upload ur score (percentile) on d site.....?
also...d online form asks for ur 6 DIGIT CAT test application form number....and not d 7 DIGIT test registration number.....has everyone got d same? i mean all other colls hav asked for d 7 digit cat registration number...dats why i'm gettin a bit worried...can neone who's filled d form pls confirm this? and also d query bout d score (percentile)....

hi guys this is abhishek.last yr i had 85.44%ile in cat with 99 va,57qa and 34 in di.....converted a merit seat in pgeb banglore campus welingkar....didnt take it up though...
this yr i hav 76%ile in cat...still applying.bt seems wont be useful as welingkar delays gdpi and final results till cet results-april/may end and thus by tht time one alrdys has to book seat at other institutes.so most probably it will be waste of 1000 bucks as icfai atleast ill convert and have to pay 60k to confirm seat by 10th march
anyways abt the interview process lots of current studnts here to help us...bt i can contribute too as went though it last yr....psyco test is real clever-beware of trying to give false impressions....just b urself...
abt pi-pple say gk/ug books etc==well i did none of tht as i have 3 yrs work ex and am v confi abt interviews-and as expected i was in controll throughout....basically i found wellingkar to be nt very diffult to get through.
this yr however i may nt coz of poorer scores.

well im nt a wellingkar?(would have been had i accepted the seat)..bt still i can answer ur queries i hope...
1.89.65-decent.even if ur a fresher id say decent chance of making it to mumbai campus as wellingkar has a very holistic appracht o evaluation-its a summation of ur scores/background/academics/work ex/personlity/gd/pi/extra curricular etc...so just make sure u are confi and sharp in gd/pi/psyco tests....and u have a good chance of converting it.
2.i can assure u sectionals are nt considered.asitis as i said scores in entrance exams are nt the criterea for selection-thy see the bigger picture.
3.it is condustc in other metro like delhi,kolkat,banglore too....so worry abt tht.

hi guys have 92.56% in CAT and 85%+ in every section . I have applied to welingkar . I am a final year engineering student . Do i stand a good chance of converting the call. Is Welingkar good option for me. Well please tell me do eng. get preference. I have visited the Mumbai campus and just loved it. Please tell me bout the growth prospects in the college. hey people could u plz suggest in ur opinion given a choice btw wellingker and icfai(hyd) which one will u take up.....and i've heard the quality of infra and faculty is not so good at wellingker....kindly comment!
