and the mails are nothing to worry abt ppl who hav already applied..they mite hav sent it randonmly for inviting applications just dat..so chill..all above 70%ile can positively wait for de calls.

Welingkar website still says last date for submission is February 28th. It will be really sick if they make it april last. I mean who will take the risk, let go all of their other options and wait for welingkar...why is the inst so keen in taking left overs?????

Abt the ebiz course, please check my earlier posts. To make things easier, let me repeat the points.
- The PGPeB course was started in 2001 in Mumbai and 2004 at the Bangalore campus.
- Infrastructure is the same campus at Mumbai. The Bangalore campus has similar infrastructure.
- The course was started based on industry requirements. (Bangalore was hence the natural choice)
- The highest salaries have gone to an ebiz person every year.
- Please read the attached file for an idea on the course. This is what we give companies when they want to know more about the course. Only thing. This file is a year old, I have not been able to update it with this years actual figures, but it should give you an idea.

According to this table: Highest Salary - 3.5 pa
Lowest Salary - 1.2 pa
Welingkar is an upcoming insittute and am pretty sure they'll do better this year. The institute already offers exchange programmes to Japan, Ghana and Kenya. Heard from a student that from this academic year onwards they're starting exchange programmes/internships to 2 European countries.
Hey.. Looking at the data u hav quoted i am wondering that does it make any sense to me to do MBA from Welingkar (I am working with ABN AMRO currently wth a package of 2 Lacs).....???????????
yup.........i thought that being in mumbai it shld attract better packages.....this years median is 5( wellingkers notification) but can anybody fill in abt the mean ?...i nt sure hw much 2 count on this 5 per annum figure!
