I am opening this thread so that ppl can post their this year's GD/PI experience.
I'll start..
Had my process at 2pm today. Delhi.
Can u believe it only 6 ppl were called in my slot!! Plus one fellow didint turn up.All of us had the shock of our lives. So we were 4 boys n 1 girl( moi!).
at exactly 2pm, one sir came and asked us to move to the GD room.
No reporting.. nothing.
We were told where to sit. Told the process. Guys, listen CAREFULLY to the instructions.
Next, our topic was: INDIAN INDUSTRIES ARE FAILING "MERA BHARAT".
About 1 min 2 think.
We had a discussion for about 6-7 mins. Thats it! i spoke about 2 times.
Immediately after that, the first person was called for interview. I was third in my batch.
They are asking about acads..
Ok, My interview..Watever i remember of it..
Do you stay in Delhi?
Blah blah..
Is it a good place?
What have u done here?
Blah blah..
Why did u do ur grad from Pune?
Did u have any distractions?
Why is it important to be good in studies?
What co-curriculars have u took part in?
Tell us about the electronic ckt of an Air conditioner..
I cudnt answer that very well..:(
Ok..which is ur favourite subject?
I said computer n/ws.
Ok..wat is a n/w?
Can u write it down in a minute?
Ok..any questions?
These are some of the things i remember..
They were even askin me grammatical english questions..regarding something i had spoken or written..
I dont know how i have done...

Well frankly i cant get the drift of the interview from what you have posted.If your answers to the questions were good , it doesnt look too bad.

@prasunc..the answers were alrite..one answer leading to another question..i just thought that since i fumbled a bit on the AC question..i said i dont know much..n their pickin out little mistakes n all..was it a stress interview..
mayb not coz one panelist was smiling a lot n generally very cheerful.
They also asked me any more calls..i said XLRI BM..they seemed happy about it.
I dunno wat 2 think.

Looks like that's an ok interview then.
Typically "what" you answer doesnt matter much . It's how u do that that matters. To carry yourself well even when you dont know an answer is a positive that the panel would like to see.
Any idea who all were in the panel at Delhi?

well so the intervies have finally started huh. well abt the question abt stress interviews...hmmm....yeah they kinda stress ya....n the one guy smilin is all part of the good guy-bad guy routine.....it was there in delhi last year too..
well like we mentioned in the other thread...acads r important...but more important is ur confidence.....n its a thin line between confidence and arrogance.....so check out there...
just be sure about urself...should be good enough..,,

well buddy from what i can think of the topic
u can say that indian companies,r trying to be so very modern so fast that they r allowing small scle companies to develope, u can also say something like the india shining episode that BJP had during election, and how certain companies just took the advantage of the issue.
but the best thing to do ina a topic where u have very little idea is that u try to see what the others had to speak, and pick a valid point and try to add to that.

just felt that way cause i had made a lot of searching and finally decided to start the thread,

can u plz tell dat how many candidates they ve calld for int. in a day??
is there only a GD and then a subsequent int.?? approx how mnay min. they are taking for a int?? plz tell me are they asking for verification of original documents/certificates?? during int. are they reading out the form filled by the candidate n r they asking questions from ref. to the info in it?

1.I dont know about the whole day..but there were 6 people in my slot. 1 person was absent so 5 of us were there.
2. Yes, thr is only one GD n then one interview.
3. Approx, 15 to 20 mins for intrw.
4. We werent asked for verification. Not even our call letter was seen.
5. They have a copy of the form we fill..they just reffered 2 it once during my intrw to see my specialisation. Thats it.
