See I have a percentile of 94.46...LIBA ditched me so its the only other institute I have applied for.So if the seats are booked by internal management do I have any chance to get thrugh?
94.46%tile...is quite enuff for the HR course...n thn u cud have had fat bettr options than xiss with this score..xime/itm/kirloskar/gim..anyws..dont expect much from this collg..gd pi will not be a tuff issue..xiss just exaggerate thngs a lot regardin gd n pi n all stuff..it will be a very normal one..with max. weightage givn to ur xat scr..n also acads..thr's a lot of internal politics in this collg regardin adsmsns n all..as i've said earlier..only HR of this isnti is worth comin..rest courses.. nvr think of them..

Actually I had appeared for LIBA gd/pi but cudnt get thrugh.And itz the only college I applied apart from dis and primarly bcoz of its reasonably low fees I want to get thrugh dis college.

As it is mentioned in above posts and xiss prospectus that 50% seats are reserved for SC and ST and Jharkhand domicile students but i m still confused abt seat management. Could any one plz specify the actual seats for Gen catg. and reservation for SC/ST/OBC, Jharkhand domicile students, non Jharkhand std, Minors(Christian), non Jharkhand minors(Christian).... Thanks
My XAT score is 67.83 BBA(final yr)-60% till now. HSC-46% very poor SSC-60% Extracurricular-abve avg. Communication skill-gud I have gt d call for PM course...do i have ne chance of gettin thru...seniors plzz help.... vry vry confused

my gd pi date 4 mktg is 15th nd for pm its 17th..nyone on that dates.....can nyone explain that how many seats are available to non jharkhand general category students...

look for PM they say they have 75 seats..but they inc. it to 80-85..out of which 50% is resrvd for the st/sc's christians..and then rest is for gen. cat..out which few seats gets booked before the process starts..and there's an open auction of seats here for the rest of the courses like IM/finance and marketing..and to some extent PM..if u have a good xat score,80-85+ then u might get thru....or else talk to collg managmnt...they might fix u a seat..

do they really get the seats fixed???? i have a xat percentile 0f 89, i think i hv gud chances, bt if the seats r getting fixed thn i hv no problem doing so, i mean the fees is so less as compared to other b-schools, by fixing it at any amount would not be dat bad an investment....
hi friends ... lets not get confused about fixing seats and all..... because many of us dont have any information about this..... and as far as GD is concerned ..lets give the best... because if we will think about fixing seatas and all then we might just fail performing at GD/PI and we can not be very much sure about this "seat thing".... and if it is there.. then we can moot -up this issue. ...and second problem is that... then everybody will try to fix seat ...then also it will create problem........

Are u mad...u cant juz approach dem nd say I want to get my seats fixed widout proper evidence...u mite b expelled from the gd/pi process even.And as per dis seat fixing goes I think he is referring to back door entries of some kind which unfortunately most B schools of dis category have...but you gotta have contacts with the rite kind of people for dat.... like the management,college authorities or student's council or so...dont juz land urself in trouble. U have a very good XAT course so juz give ur best shot in gd/pi,you will sail thrugh.....
guys, discuss things which will have a positive impact on us. here what am i seeing that every 2nd or 3rd post is about backdoor entries. plz dont think about that, but get prepare for the GD/PI & try to give your best shot mates.

hey dont take the things other way round..89 is a very good score for xiss...just conc. on gd and pi..u won't get enuff brains here esp. for gdpi..u can see this from the shorlisting procedure..with a score of 89 or anythng above this is save for PM..that is the HR course fr xiss..the fixing thing which am talkin abt is for the othr courses...IM/marketin/finance...guys having a score of 75 n xat last yr are here doing HR..n also guys having a score as low as 40-50's are here doing marketin/IM/finance..so as far as HR is concrnd..it is the only backbone of the insti. along with RD to some extent..talk to any loacalite here n he'll suggst u HR fr xiss..and nothing else..so chillax..with 89%tile.ur thru to xiss..jst focus on gdpi..also plz plz don't apply to any othr courses of this insti. with this 89%tile..its not worth..trust me..just go for the PM wala course and RD if intrstd..and seat fixing and all goes here for these marketin/IM/finance courses..they an't do this with PM coz this is the only course thru which xiss is known to ppl like outside ranchi..just go for the HR course...any score above 85-87 is safe..ur 70% in..
