I want to tell u(specially R.D call getters) something which is very important....
R.D is very popular course in xiss, P.M is new.....These days condition of R.D is good, but once it was very popular...U kno there r many professionals frm xiss who r heading ngo's .....some highly respected prof.s in ximb and irma r frm this college.............So, for R.D studs future is secure.....
Initially v ppl will get salary in between 2-3 or more(depends on quality intake)....but the kind of work we ppl are going to do is very value added.....after spendin 1-2 year in any ngo's, ur salary can go to any extent, so don worry abt placements....last year max. was 7.2.....
last thing R.D professionals are highly respected everywhere.......

Hello Friends I am Rajesh Ranjan, got call for RD. One of my friend is already studying there in RD and according to him this is the best program from XISS. RD is only program, got 100% placement this year, with average package 3.5 and highest 5.5. In summer internship maximum package for this year is 20k for two months. Most of the students placed in NGOs and government's organization as Agriculture department, Land resources department etc. Its myth that you will get job only in small cities, you can get job even in Delhi also, but yes most of the students get placement in small cities and after two or 3 years of work experience you can easily go to big cities. The package in initial stage is little low but after 2-3 years it will become also very impressive as 8-10.
RD program from XISS is one of the top RD program in India or you can say it is in top 5.

Some times u dont have nay problem but ur loving parents have .same is the case with me. My dad is not too happy wd this RD course as people have told him that ur daughter will have to visit or even stay back for long time in remote villages. I am facing big problem in convincing him..can any one from RD help me wd real picture.

Hello Sneha, according to your work experience HR will be more better program for you. It is possible to change, for this you need to talk with father (Director).
In RD we don't get job in villages. we will get placement in small towns as Lucknow, Ranchi, Patna,Gandhinagar, etc.
This year some students got final placement as well as summer placement in delhi and NCR also.
One best thing with RD is, it is the best sector where, there is not fear about recession.
Some bank also want rural manager these days and they prefer RD students.
Future is bright in this sector, suppose City bank want to open branch in Ranchi, then surely they need a manager who know rural area better so in this case they will pick you as manager so in RD....... SKY is the limit..........Get ready for fly.....

i can understand ur problem.....ur father's concern is vry natural....u kno 1 thin is 4 sure, u will have to visit or even stay back in remote villages...but not 4 a long time.....but only in initial period.....but don u think it is great....u ll learn abt those ppl whom nobody cares....
see if u realy want do this, if u r really concerned then just do it....don think abt ur parents...because it is better to do something u like otherwise u ll regret after 10 years for it...
Finally choice is urs....talk to some senior for more info.....

2. RD has bright scopes. Say HUL gets its 70% revenue from rural sector. Most of the banks are expanding themselves in rural areas.But it largely depends whether u r prepared to work in rural sector. U need to scan ur thoughts.
3. Most importantly. I guess u r staying in Ranchi. Why dont u take the pain to pay a visit to XISS and talk directly to seniors over there. From whom r u seeking help in thsi thread? Most of the puys in this thread are aspirants

Now,let me put my thoughts,but before that,wanna tell you dear,i have a lot of my friends in XISS & apart from that i have also taken the pain to talk to the current batch(but only PM,my dear)...
To say that XISS is a tier 1 college or anything of that sort will be a much hyped statement..but,i can tell you for sure,if you are good,be rest assured that you will get more than peanuts in return..
When i say all this,let me tell you,XISS is not the only college that i am banking on & hence i have reverted back to you as i am hurt...the point is that pagalguy is one trustworthy source of knowledge & the way you have continued to vent down your frustration ,arrogance blah blah... is dissappointing...

hostel details: for a 4 seater Rs1000 per month
for a 2 seater Rs.1400 per month (for either of the 2 options you need to pay for 6 months in advance through dd on the date of joining)
For food:Rs.1500per month (Rs 4500 in cash advance for 3 months to be paid on the date of joining )

Hi they will take your College Leaving Certificate (CLC)other documents are needed only for verification...:)

uper ke saare questions ka ab mere pass first hand experience hai.....waise SUSHREE ,,, the hostel in charge told me that there is no surety that u ll get a place in hostel ... subject to availability....n u ll get to knw before the commencement of classes.
