Hi juhi,
Please don't take it otherwise, but your question reflects your narrow-mindedness.
PM & RD, for that matter any other department is better than each other in different aspect. It depends on your inclination. The course you see yourself congruent-to, please opt for that, that will be the best one...

As of Personnel Management gyan & what on earth does it mean. I am surprised to know how oblivion you are(Don't feel offended again).

Had you taken the trouble to go through previous posts, you wouldn't have asked so. In short, its very much similar to Human Resource, the terminology(its an old one) is different because the institute strongly believes that it produces ''Personnel Manager''.

I have not mentioned the DD details in Form.Done such a blunder.But I have written my name,add,and XAT id on back side of DD.also in form,i have only mentioned that mode is DD.
as tomorrow is Sunday,is XiSS office will be open or closed?and what to do now?Can any of u seniors help me regarding this??????????plz reply?


I hope you have stapled your draft & form, i.e. to say, they are enclosed together..If it is that way, i don't think it will be much of an issue..

But, i would suggest you to please make a call to the office & intimate about the same...

Sadly Xiss has missed one more applicant and I have missed XISS. :(
I was confused to apply, but when I decided, it was too late. Good luck to all who are going to get call from XISS.

thanks Anamika for the update.. mine is on 17th.

I applied for marketing only(made a mistake..should have applied for rural dev.), but they have called in total 438 students for PGDMKT(378 general+46 SCST+14 christian)..now how many seats do they offer in total for PGDMKT?????

I read on a weblink: Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) at Ranchi they have mentioned "Seats Available : 60 percent of the total seats will be reserved for the State of Jharkhand including 33% for SC/ST and 7% for Christians." So how many seats are there for general candidates like me??? :wow: Please reply if someone knows abt this

i applied for finance in xiss but commited a blunder...according to info provided in brochure we have to send attested copies of 10th 12th and grad. marksheets along with application form and dd...i did the same but by mistake i send unattested copy of my graduation marksheet...what should i do now???....also do i stand a chance of getting a call...my xat pc is 95.38??...plz help..

You don't have to do anything now, just sit back and relax:oops:
Let the admission department do their bit

But, i don't think that just because you haven't enclosed the attested form, your candidature will not be considered.. Be optimistic..
You will get the call!!!

Well have a talk with the admissions team of XISS i.e XISS admin dept.
I think you can apply it should not be a concern however the admin of XISS will have the final say on the issue..
