I have got 70 percentile in XAT, will i get a call from XISS
what is the average placement in XISS for Finance, is finance of XISS good or i should try in HR.

At first i was looking for Finance as i saw in prospectus that 58 out of 60 got placed but now i am making out that PM is a better course.

I have 79.36%ile in XAt would it be very very difficult for me to convert or i need a decent/good gdpi.
My acads till gradaution all through 60+ and good.. though in my first year of M.com i scored 4&5 and thats not bad according to univ standards.Now if i complete my M.com and join xiss.My M.com percentage i expect to be around 55%..How would that affect me during palcments. And also if dont complete my M.com as my exams might be in the month june-july how might that affect my chances of converting and getting placed eventually.

UCO Bank & IDBI Bank did turned up this year in our campus for Finance (supposedly), and they offered more than 6 Lakh..But, barring PM, none of the stream invites companies which pays fat cheque to the students

From last year, to underpin the placement process, the institute is making a serious effort to induct students with good percentiles only.
Earlier, there were a lot of discrepancies in placement.
You hold a good chance, but, of course, GD/PI is the key.
Yes, you will be thoroughly grilled that why you are wiling to join XISS midway through your Masters...and blah blah blah
Don't know about last year's lowest convert, but it must be around 70%ile (or high 60%ile), and the student must have performed exceptionally well.
Apart from this, i think that they, in spite of inviting applications with a very low percentile, might raise the percentile cut-off, based on the number of application.

DO not doubt over what is said here. It's coming straight from the gut & our experience.
There are numerous ways of inflating the placement data.One way is including off-campus placement as well.
I don't see any reason for you to be confused. Use your wisdom mate
