Please let me know if I can expect a call for PGDM-RD of XISS with these scores. I have not yet applied and not sitting in CMAT.
Also can anyone throw some light on the placement scenario rural developement(RD) including average salary and profile of the organizations they are being placed and kind of work etc. I understand for RD one cannot be pay package oriented but I want to have a holistic picture of the RD department at XISS.
If there is any senior from RD department it will be really helpful.Genuinly interested in RD.

As far as your score goes...u can expect a call for GD. PGDM-RD at XISS has now gone in for a change as Rural Management...
As far as placements go you must understand that XISS RD has got a good reputation in the development sector. Over the past few years it has been njoying 100% placements with packages going up.
A majority of roles offred are in the development sector with average salaries arnd the 3 Lpa + figure.
Though i must admit i m not from RD (now RM)

Congratulations people
For most of your queries, the answer lie in the previous posts..Kindly refer to them to know more about the placement status and fees and ...........
For people interested in PM/HR, anything more than 75%ile, makes the game slightly easier for you:o:o. However, PI holds the key.
For people having scores hovering around 60-75%ile, will have to perform brilliantly in the GD/PI. You still hold a 50-50 chance.
For 50%ile or so, you have an uphill task ahead. But then, there are exceptions in terms of admissions every year.
Generally, people with more than 3 years of work-ex are least preferred.
Companies coming for campus are good. Kindly check the name of the companies in the previous posts.
Also bear in mind that people having experience might not find that elite-class treatment in terms of placements.
Lastly, a kind request, please be more direct & objective in what you are asking or what you want to know...Will try to keep you informed at the earliest

Your percentile is OK.
Rest depend on tour GD/PI.
Look, in GD, you might be faced with an abstract topic. In all probability, there will be a lady during the GD. She gives a lot of weightage on your communications and the ability to express.
During PI, there will be 2 panels (most probably). In both the panel, be ready to be grilled
My advice:
Be sincere, honest in your answers...Don't try to fake..

Yes, HR is the best course in XISS (along with RD).
It would be too early to arrive at the conclusion whether the average package is 6 lakh or more or less
It is close to 6 Lakh, i must say. This time around a lot of companies has still not visited our campus. So, will tell you later about the same.

Considerable weightage is given to XAT scores & academic performances...
One can convert a call even if one score 60%ile & one might be rejected even if one has a percentile of more than 95%ile.(But, usually the trend of the selection has been mentioned in the previous posts)

Students are placed all across the country. People placed in HR profile are generally placed in metro cities/tier 1 cities. Others are placed in Bangalore, Odisha, West Bengal, New Delhi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sri Lanka, Thailand, etc.....
