I too went thru d posts (800-830). I assume XISS to b one of d best colls under d Xavier tag but these posts have made me think again !!!

I can understand that one should be very clear before deciding to take admission in any B-school, because of the lofty investment required:.
I would also write that, i am not paid by the college whenever i put any post here at PG
. Hence whatever i write is what i see and what i have experienced till date.If there are other deviating post, i must say that the person posting all those stuff (without being a part of this college and still knowing in-and-out about XISS) must be a superhero
(in a different sense) and might be blessed with a third eye.I repeat, i leave it on your wisdom and your rational to decide on trusting the source of information. The institute was plagued by back-door admissions once, and i don't know whether it is still plagued (i am writing about PM only) by the same. But, i know that i have been through merit, and a large chunk of our batch is through merit.
The institute is trying it's level best to improve on these lines.
Mind you, i have never come across any middle man, and neither my batch mates have, at any point of time, told me that they have been admitted through a different channel.
Apart from this issue, if you are (or anybody else is) troubled by any other issue, kindly let me know:
Trust me, if you are meritorious, sincere, inquisitive and possess a good enough communication skill, you are going to be placed in a very good organization of repute:clap:

I very well understand the pros n cons and I think rather than giving too much attention to some posts, I should go by the legacy XISS. Thus i find it wise to give my merit and ability a chance.
I thank u again for such piece of advice but sir do also comment on my chances of making it to PM taking into account my credentials as mentioned in the previous post of mine.

What is meant by "Attach XAT ID proof"? I have lost my admit card and the only proof that I have with me is photocopy of XLRI confirmation page where it is written as XLRI ID :xlrixxxxxx instead of xatxxxxxx .Is this sufficient i mean the only difference is xlri & xat ,the remaining figure is same.

If you have a good enough profile and your performance in the GD/PI is good, you will be through, trust me.

hi..go to xatonline.net and login wid ur xat id and password ..u can again download your admit card and score..

The syllabus for PGDPM/HR is in tune with most of the top-tier B-schools. It has been modified for good reasons in the last few years.
Placement details has been posted in the previous posts.
I do not hold a position in the admissions-cell to ensure you with certitude about your call for GD/PI
but, yes, i think you will be called (READ, i think, no certainty) As of the dates for GD/PI, i will have to check, but i guess it must be on the prospectus.

i have a intrest in XISS (PM)
do i stand any chance to get a call and if i get a call and perform well in GD & PI whether i wud be selected on merit of GD & PI or academics qud come handy at that time..
