yes there is a quota for sc , st and for christian minority. Placement is not so good in all the programs of xiss except for pm gd/pi does not held in delhi , it will held in ranchi only. I suggest u to fill only pm course because it is the only good course in xiss , according to me. And according to sources , out of 75 in pm course , only 17-20 got the placement.

although i am not a student of xiss , but one of my friends is studying there . the least is around 5 and max is around 18. i don't know about how many seats r alloted to different categories but u need to have at least 30 percentile is xat. according to me whoever has got more than 70 percentile will definitely get a call and according to me only pm course is good and rest are not so good. so it is upto u to decide , which one u wanna to take.

look u have 100% chance for all the courses of xiss. but except PM program , others don't have good placement, so it is upto u to decide and don't worry 7th march is the last date to register and u have ample time , u can also apply to xiss after ur xat result.

Is it worth applying to XISS (PM). Are their chances of getting there.
