I have a gdpi call for the 19th of April, but the location isn't mentioned . Is it in ranchi only ? Please help

Hey How do you know that XISS gd/pi is in ranchi only? Bcoz we have not received any email or communication from them regd GD/PI details

coz some of my frns r there in college itself.and also earlier,it is stated by seniors that there r no center fr gdpi other than ranchi(as it has been the trend for previous year also):)

but then we must know if anybody has received any conforming mail from xiss... I mean, i wonder if at all the shortlisted candidates receive any official mail containing the details and all.... or shall we just reach ranchi on the scheduled date without any confirmation ?????

i called XISS office today... they say d results of CMAT candidates wud be declared today evening or tomorrow morning...

Just reach there...no mail will be sent by xiss for gdpi... as told ny xiss office

Can anybody send me an official link for the fee structure of whole course (tuition fee+ hostel,mess etc for 2 yrs)

I have gone through the website & all the admission,information brochure,bulletin but could not find anything

The total fee structure is around 5 lacs for batch 2011-13. should be the same for the new batch as well.
Hostel Facility available for Girls only. Hostel located at walking distance from institute.
For boys hostels are easily available around the campus. So not a problem

i had called ranchi. They said that we hav 2 reach on scheduled date by 8:30 am, along with all our certifcates n documents..thats it.. ATB 😃

Information for Short-listed candidates for GD/PI

  1. All the short-listed candidates for GD/PI have to report at 8:30 AM on their scheduled date.
  2. Venue for GD/PI is institute Campus at Ranchi only.
  3. Must carry at least one valid photo identity card such as College Id Card/PAN/Driving License/ Passport etc
  4. You must bring all your documents (X, XII, Graduation Mark-sheets/Certifcates) and XAT 2012 Score Card in original as well as one set photocopy, duly attested.
  5. You must bring 2 colored recent passport size photographs (per GD/PI call).
  6. The GD/PI process may take one full day. Institute will not provide any accommodation to the candidates. Make your arrangements accordingly.
  7. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates through post/courier.

Well, no official word about the list yet.
But, i must tell you that the delay in publishing the list is because of the AICTE authority.

Currently, XISS has 2 threads on PG, one is this thread about queries and the other about placements. You will find that there are threads all over PG for different batches of students according to the year they are applying for and institute they are interested in for doing MBA from. Also, this thread is already too long and it becomes next to impossible to go through all posts.

Hence, I feel its better to have more threads that concentrate on the prospective students for a particular batch than to have general threads that proceed without aim.
