i will be giving CAT and XAT this year , as XISS is in Ranchi itself i wanted to join the institute please kindly tell me if the placement records, overall academics of this college are good or not. Also tell me the package offered by companies from jharkand in XISS. Eagerly waiting for replies.

the only thing comes out is that PM 
is best branch out here for placements and after that RD is there but i wanted to inquire from the seniors the pckg ofrd by Jharkhand companies like Tata steel ,SAIL and other ones , it wasn't mentioned on the thread if u have any idea please reply back soon.Thanks and Regards.

bro as far as I know,the companies you have mentioned had offered package of 6 to 9 lacs in previous year's.

Hi everybody i have a question i have 87 % in 10 and 82% in 12th and 7.05 CGPA , as i have heard companies while placement demand 60% in grduation , and my CGPA is 7.05 will that be 70.5 or anything else.

What ever you have heard is ri8.
And regarding your graduation percentage,and I think it is somewhere in between 61-70.
so nothing to worry about.:)

XAT is held on 1st Sunday of January every year.
The notification will be coming by July End or September 1st week. You will get to know all the details by then.
Till then, try looking at the previous yr's question papers of XAT. It is available on internet.

i scored 212 with 3100 rank ? do i stand any chance ?
and what abt GIM ? shud i apply coz this year no. of applicants would increase and hence the cutoffs

@vikas_kt Yes , it does , one of the best in the country , and i m not saying this a proud students persepective for sure
