Hi my Cmat Sept score is 216.I wish to apply for HR at XISS.I am a fresher and a little worried abt the package i will get after doing mba from XISS.can you please guide me with the placement status of XISS.What pckg normally do freshers get for HR in XISS.

Hi. You can apply for HR at XISS. You have a very high probability of being called for GD/PI. The institute believes in making students placeable. hi. what is the fee for the entire course and is it different for each specialization?

@admcell I came to know HRM of XISS is one of the best in India.

Just wanted to know cutt-off score of XAT and C-MAT to secure a seat safely in XISS HRM......

@kbs9 Hi.The course fee for all the specializations is same. Approx Rs. 4.25 lacs for entire two years course. This does not include lodging/boarding expenses.

@pankaj.jena1988 : All our courses are among the top ranking in the country. HRM being one of the oldest has much wider recognition. XAT above 55 percentile and CMAT Sep 2012 score above 200 will make sure that you get a call for GD/PI.

@cjose : You have a very good chance of getting it subject to your performance in GD/PI. With 205 CMAT score you will get a call for GD/PI for sure.

What is the cut off for cat and xat? Is there a sectional cut off too?

What is the time period when students are called for GD PI??

I am asking this because me being a final year student,would be having my final semester in the month of April.Also till when will we be getting calls for GD PI if any??

@kbs9 For batch 2013-15 we are accepting only XAT 2013 and CMAT Sep 2012 scores. Cut off is announced after receiving all the applications. There were no sectional cut-off till previous year.

@archit2000 This year GD / PI is scheduled in last week of Feb to first week of March 2013. We will be holding GD/PI s in three more cities apart from main campus at Ranchi. These cities are Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata - subject to a minimum of 50 candidates interested for GD/PI in each of these cities.

@admcell Can you please confirm the role of Essay Writing in selection of XISS ?

We know its score won't be rounded off with XAT score....

Some say it will be used for GD/PI screening, Others say It will not be used by XLRI.. .rest all will use the essay writing.

Hence, need your assistance.....

@pankaj.jena1988 XISS doesn't use the scores of Essay writing, conducted with XAT. We hold our own 'Assessment of Writing Skills' during GD/PI session. This component of selection process is added since last year. This carries a weightage of 10% in total selection scores.

@pankaj.jena1988 don worry abt the essay writing it will be easy. concentrate more on ur GD & iNTERVIEW preperations. be in touch with current affairs and you would be able to write a good essay

my cmat score is 50 of sept 2012, i belngs to sc category, is there any chance to get xiss??

will xiss take the score of feb 2013 cmat exam??

@cl12345 Chances are negligible but you can never say...

XISS does not accept Feb 2013 score.
