Can we keep this group for proper discussion rather than the 'predict my chances' spam thats in the other group?
If you are in this group, operate on the assumption that you are getting a call and prepare accordingly. If you get a call, well and good. If not, you are not any worse because of the preparation.
Limit discussion to next admission related process for XLRI 2021-23.

Which course should I join to help me prepare for GDPI for XLRI BM?

Guys I am sharing my personal experience and hope it helps someone:
I was shortlisted last year as well for XLRI and I was extremely anxious looking for resources to read experiences of GDPI of past years. And I did get and read it on Quora, PagalGuy Etc., hoping it will help.
But did it?
The experiences made me very anxious making me desperate to read about the questions asked to those people.
Someone said they will ask acads if you are a fresher I revised all my grad subjects by heart. I got asked no academic question.
Someone said you must know about the history of the institute, the city, and ofcourse St. Xavier. I do not remember any other time in my life when I so passionately read history.
Someone said you must know about your city, state and current affairs (Shaheen Bagh was a hot topic back then and Covid in it nascent stages) I covered the stories closely.
I did things that everyone asked me to and I thought I will get through because this is what is ASKED in an XL interview.
But did it help?
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Another mistake I did was talking to everyone getting out of the interview room asking what was asked how was it. Which added to my anxiety.
I do not remember a Worse Interview than what I had that day. :)
Now working as an HR Professional, actively engaging in Recruitment, this is what I have learnt:
BE YOURSELF. Be clear about your vision, recall your story, your thoughts. Remember why you started this journey, why you are in it and where you want to be. Ofcourse all those things stated above are important, but remember: If you cannot answer those questions it will give you maybe a -10 but if you are unclear about your thoughts and journey you get a -100.
My suggestion in a nutshell is
Do read these experiences, but just as a leisure reading. Do not take it seriously and think this is going to be your interview experience as well. Do not base your preparation ENTIRELY on it.

I have an overall percentile of 98.67 with VA/LR/QA being 90/99/98. What are my chances of receiving the shortlist from MDI Gurgaon?
