AIIMS PG 2017: Final result of DM/MCh courses declared

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi has declared the final results of the DM/MCh (Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery) courses on November 26. The final results are declared on the basis of marks secured in the  online entrance test (Stage I) and departmental assessment (Stage II) rounds. The selection of the candidates will be made for 39 different departments of DM/MCh courses.

Candidates need to visit the AIIMS website and click on the active link ‘Final result of DM/MCh January 2017 season’ under ‘Important Announcements’ section. Names of the candidates with their corresponding roll numbers are mentioned in the result PDF file. Candidates need to save the PDF file for further reference. The waiting list candidates for each streams would get a chance for admission only if the selected candidates are unable to produce all the required documents in the verification round or forfeit their seats. The wait-listed candidates list is made on the basis of 50% of the number of seats available in the respective stream.

Candidates must make sure that they complete their qualifying degree (MD/MS) and tenure of 3 years as a practicing doctor before January 31, 2017. Those candidates, failing to complete the tenure on time and produce original certificates at the time of admission, will be disqualified. The admission in the various streams of DM/MCh courses will be completed by February 28, 2017.
