Paper Easy, say IBPS Clerk Prelims CWE 2016 candidates

According to candidates who took the examination today (November 27), the IBPS Clerk Prelims CWE 2016 was a fairly easy paper. This was revealed by PaGaLGuY users in our IBPS Clerk! Discussion Group as well as in a quick survey conducted on the PaGaLGuY website. The examination was conducted on November 26 and 27 across the country. The preliminary examination will take place next week on December 3 and 4 at various test centres across the country, as well.

Here are some of the responses we received from our users.

Subhajit Chakraborty: “The paper overall was quite easy and I attempted 93 questions in total.”

Ankit Singh: “The questions in all the papers were quite easy and I guess I have given correct answers to most of them. I have solved 81 questions in total; 28 in English, 26 in Reasoning Ability and 27 in Quantitative Aptitude.”

Himanshu Bhandari: “Solving 80 plus questions is easy in the preliminary examination if you have good speed and solid practice. I have solved more than 80 questions today.”

Ravi Panwar: “I have attempted 83 questions in total, giving the morning shift examination from Delhi.”

Aswathy: “I solved 33 Reasoning, 28 Quantitative Aptitude and 22 English questions in the examination today.” 

Pranjal Bhagtani: “The reading comprehension and close test questions were very easy. Once the concepts are clear, it becomes easy to answer them. I attempted 87 questions in total.”

The IBPS Clerk CWE 2016 preliminary examination consists of 100 multiple choice questions from three papers namely, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. While the English carries 30 questions each, the Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude paper consists of 35 questions each. Candidates need to score the cut off marks in each of the paper to qualify for the mains written examination. The result of the preliminary online examination is expected to be out in the month of December. The mains written examination will take place on December 31.
