GATE 2017: Candidates with dyslexia / writer’s cramp, find out how to apply for an extra hour

Non-PwD (Person with Disability) applicants with dyslexia or writer’s cramp can now request the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) authorities for an extra hour of the examination time. They can submit their request by e-mail to [email protected].

The e-mail should include the following information and supporting documents:

–          Name of candidate

–          Enrolment ID

–          Latest certificate from a Government hospital doctor mentioning the disorder of the candidate with full name

Please note that the doctor’s declaration is on a letterhead, with signature, date, and seal. 

Candidates should e-mail the above-mentioned details to [email protected] with the subject line dyslexia/Writer’s cramp before 6pm of December 5, 2016.
