Scholarship at BITS Pilani

For newly admitted students at BITS Pilani, a variety of scholarships and concessions are available. To assist its students financially, the institute provides merit and need-based scholarships. The following are some of the popular concessions and scholarship schemes available at BITS Pilani:

• Scholarship for Board Toppers: As a merit scholarship, BITS Pilani offers 100 percent, 75 percent, and 50 percent fee exemption to the top three board toppers of their respective boards. The scholarship is only good for the first semester’s tuition.
• Merit in Qualifying Examination: Students who receive 90 percent or higher on the qualifying examination aggregate receive a 20 percent merit scholarship for the first semester tuition fee. While students with an aggregate qualifying examination score of 80 percent or higher but less than 90 percent receive a 15 percent merit scholarship for the first semester tuition fee.
• Merit in BITSAT Examination: BITS Pilani offers 75 percent, 50 percent, and 25 percent merit scholarships to students based on their BITSAT examination rank. In addition, students can receive a hostel fee reduction based on their BITSAT rank.
