Course Highlights
- The university provides extra training programmes for its students as well as for foreign students. In 2018, IIHMR conducted 26 such programmes in collaboration with governmental and international health organisations.
- IIHMR’s MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management is the first and the oldest course of its kind in India.

IIHMR Admission Process 2019
The process of admission to IIHMR is regulated by two steps. The primary step is that the prospective candidate matches the minimum academic criteria that each course has.
The second step requires the candidate’s score in one of the National Level Management Exams (MAT, CAT, GMAT, XAT and CMAT) to match that of the cutoff that the Institute decides. The candidate can also apply for IIHMR’s own Indian Institute of Health Management Research Management Aptitude Test (IIHMR-MAT).
MBA in Specialisation of Choice
Eligibility: The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks on aggregate.
Selection Process: The selection process is done on the basis of the candidate’s CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT or GMAT scores. Alternatively, the candidates can also appear for the IIHMR-U MAT which is a suitable substitute of the aforementioned exams.
MPH (Master of Public Health)
Eligibility: The candidate has to solve a pre-screening questionaire approved by IIHMR. Should they make the cutoff, they can apply for the programme.
Selection Process: The candidate has to submit a pre-screening form and should they make the cut, they would receive confirmation from IIHMR and John Hopkins University. After this, they can complete their application by SOPHAS (Schools of Public Health and Services).
PhD in Specialisation of Choice
Eligibility: The candidate must have completed their master's degree with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate.
Selection Process: The selection process will be done on the basis of IIHMR Research Aptitude Test (IRAT). Should the candidate clear the written test they are invited for a personal interview on whose basis the final selection is made.
IIHMR Placements
The placement record at IIHMR is rather high. The placement committee takes pride in the fact that the departments have an almost hundred per cent placement record. In 2018, the lowest placement record for the MBA was 73% of the batch strength while the highest was recorded to be 100%.

IIHMR Result and Cutoff
IIHMR Jaipur teaches MBA courses that are highly specialised. There are 180 seats in the MBA (Health and Hospital Management) course. Additionally, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management takes in 60 students while the MBA in Rural Management has the allocation for 30 seats.
As a result, the cutoff is considerably higher than most other institutions that teach MBA courses. The CAT 2018 cutoff was at 50 percentile while the XAT cutoff for the same year was 70 percentile.
Alumni Network
The IIHMR Jaipur Alumni Cell was created with the objective of cultivating a mutually beneficial network between the university and its alumni. The Alumni Cell serves as the primary link that the university uses to tap into insider information from the industry. This information is used to better prepare the current students for the market.
IIHMR Scholarship
The Late Shri P.D Agarwal Scholarship is available to all the university students based on the batch’s combined merit which is prepared at the time of admission. There are only 20 seats available in the scholarship programme. Each of these students is awarded a sum of INR 1,00,000 as scholarship.
IIHMR Jaipur Campus
IIHMR, Jaipur has one of the infrastructurally most developed campuses in the country. It has an elegant architecture adorned with landscaped design. The campus is spread across 14.37 acres with an academic block, a clubhouse, a computer lab, a library, smart-classrooms and a recreation zone among other facilities.
