IIIT Allahabad Placements

IIIT Allahabad placements are given to students who are willing and have the required skills for a company. The placement activities are looked after by the Placement office of the institute. The office sends Invitations to the company/organization who might be interested, starting in August.

After the company/organization confirms their interest, the office arranges for a pre-placement talk with the students. The office sets a date and the company manages its selection process. The students are finally shortlisted for interview and are selected.

Companies also offer Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) to candidates who have worked with them during the summer projects. This PPO is generally given a week before the actual placement procedure is scheduled to start and the student can either accept or deny the offer. 

Placement report for the past few years has been very good for the institute. It has been able to achieve 100% success rates in their placement efforts.

For the year of 2015-16, it has managed to place 362 of its eligible students out of a batch of 370 people, with various reputed companies.

IIIT Allahabad M.tech Placements are very competitive and can fetch packages to students worth 11 lakhs per annum or above. IIIT Allahabad M Tech placements also increasing year to year. The IIIT Allahabad highest package was worth 27 lakhs per annum while the IIIT Allahabad average package comes closer to 12.5 lakhs per annum.

Apart from IIIT Allahabad Mtech Placements, IIIT Allahabad MBA placements are also provided to the students in the course. IIIT Allahabad MBA average package can be viewed on the official website. Some of the popular recruiters are Amazon, Adobe, Snapdeal, Flipkart etc.
