IIT Jodhpur – Indian Institute of Technology Overview

The technical university IIT Jodhpur was constructed using a self-sustaining campus model. The campus of the institute receives the GRIHA Exemplary Performance Award. Admissions to IIT Jodhpur are presently open for AY 2022–23. There are now available shortlists for admission to the Executive MTech, MSc (Digital Humanities), MTech-PhD, and PhD programs. IIT Jodhpur is one of India's second-generation IITs. Through its 11 departments, the institute offers a total of 40 courses. Engineering, management, basic sciences, and humanities are the institute's main focus areas for instruction and research. The permanent campus of IIT Jodhpur has been relocated to Karwad village. As a result, the institute created a Technology Park (spanning 182 acres) to promote interaction between the institute and industry.

BTech is the institute's primary program. The BTech program at IIT Jodhpur offers specialization in 8 different fields. There are 490 places available in total for the program. By taking the JEE Advanced exam and going through JoSAA counseling, candidates can get admitted to the BTech program. The JEE cutoff range for the BTech program at IIT Jodhpur is 1525–12790. The four-year BTech program costs INR 4.60 Lacs in total. The MBA program at IIT Jodhpur is another well-liked course. Three specializations in MBA degrees are available at IIT Jodhpur SME. The CAT exam results are used to determine admission to the program. For MBA admissions, a CAT percentile of 90 or higher is preferred.

IIT Jodhpur offers a range of scholarships and financial aid to help students cover their educational costs. All scholarships are awarded exclusively based on the student's merit scores or financial necessity. These well-known scholarship programs are listed below.

• Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:  The MCM scholarship is given to undergraduate students based on their performance on their entrance exams or in previous academic coursework.

1. Under this program, students in the general category are eligible for a monthly pocket allowance of INR 1000 as well as tuition price waivers.
2. While students in the SC/ST category are given a monthly pocket allowance of INR   1000 and are not required to pay for their hostel seats or meals.

IIT Jodhpur offers this grant through NSP, particularly for SC students with top academic standing. To qualify for this program, SC students' parents must earn less than INR 6 lakhs annually. In accordance with this program, the chosen students will receive full tuition fee waivers as well as other benefits.

2. a yearly allowance of up to INR 3000 for books and stationery
3. A laptop or computer costing INR 45,000

• Fee Remission to EWS B.Tech Students: Students who fall under the EWS category and are enrolled in the B.Tech program at IIT Jodhpur are eligible for fee remission. Under this program, students may receive tuition fee waivers based on their annual parental income.
