NITIE PGDIM & PGDISEM Eligibility
The applicants applying for the PGDIM & PGDISEM courses at NITIE, Mumbai must follow the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
- The candidates must have a BE/B.Tech degree with a 60% aggregate in any branch from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Also, they must have a valid CAT score.
- Candidates appearing for their final year exams in engineering are also eligible to apply.

- Students are shortlisted for the PGDIM or PGDISM based on the CAT score.

NITIE offers some other Postgraduate diploma courses namely PGDIE, PGDMM and PGDPM. The duration of these courses is 2 years. The total seat intake for the PGDIE course is 140 while there are 44 seats in PGDMM & PGDPM.
NITIE PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM Eligibility
The applicants applying for the PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM courses at NITIE, Mumbai must follow the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
- Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech. degree with a 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate in any branch from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Candidates appearing for their final year exams in engineering are also eligible to apply.
- The sponsored candidate must have a minimum work experience of 2 years.
NITIE PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM Selection Criteria
Candidates are shortlisted for the PGDIE, PGDMM and PGDPM programs depending upon the following selection procedure:
For Indian / Non – Sponsored Candidates:
- NITIE shortlists candidates on the basis of GATE score.
- The shortlisted candidates have to appear for GD and PI at the NITIE Mumbai campus.
For Sponsored Candidates:
The candidates under this category are exempted from the GATE exam. However, they will have to appear for a University-based written test followed by an interview.
For International Candidates:
- The international applicants are required to submit their GRE scores along with either TOEFL or IELTS and they must have 60% marks in the qualifying degree.
- Evaluation will also be based on LORs and SOPs submitted by the individuals.
- Students shortlisted based on the criteria will have to appear for an interview either in person or through the internet on a video call
NITIE PGPEX-VLFM Admission 2022
NITIE Mumbai offers 1-year Post Graduate Program for Executives – Visionary Leaders for Manufacturing (PGPEX-VLFM). The total seat intake of the program is 25.
NITIE PGPEX-VLFM Eligibility
- Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech in any branch with first class
- Candidates must also have 5-12 years of industrial experience in the Manufacturing domain as of the last date of application submission.
NITIE PGPEX-VLFM Selection Criteria
The eligible candidates will be called for a Written test followed by an Interview for the final selection.

NITIE FPM Admission 2022

NITIE FPM Eligibility
- The candidates must have a Master’s degree with a 55% aggregate in Science/Technology/Engineering/Management/Economics/Social Science from a recognized university.
- The candidates appearing for their final year exams in engineering are also eligible to apply.
NITIE FPM Selection Criteria
The students are mainly selected based on the following stages:
STAGE I: Initial Shortlisting
Candidates are shortlisted for the FPM course on the basis of their eligibility, application, and research proposal
STAGE II: Written Test + PI
- The candidates who have been shortlisted will have to appear for the NITIE Admission Test, Writing Skills Test followed by a Research Presentation, and PI.
- All the candidates are required to appear for a Research Presentation and Personal Interview. The presentation is based on the research paper submitted and the interview is based on the subjects and topics included in the research paper, communication skills, motive for research, and overall assessment.
STAGE III: Merit List
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the following
