NIT (National Institute of Technology) Patna offers B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc (five years integrated programs) under its ten departments. Students are required to appear in the common entrance test conducted to get admission in the institute. The application form is provided online on the institute’s website. The Institute follows the semester-based academic curriculum and its academic year is divided into two semesters i.e. Odd & Even semester. The duration of the Odd semester (July-December) and that of the even semester is (January-June).

The term-end examination is conducted at the end of each semester i.e. in the month of November-December (Odd Semester) and in the month of April-May (Even Semester). The examination timetable is uploaded on the institute’s website a month before the commencement of the examination. The result is announced online 25-30 days later to the examination. The Institute provides the academic calendar online to detail all the academic events scheduled to be conducted in the session.

The timetable of institute’s external (theory/practical) and supplementary examination is uploaded on the official website before the inception of the examination. The timetable of the examination is released 30-35 days prior to its inception date. The examination schedule of the Odd semester examination is circulated in the month of October-November, while the date-sheet of the even semester term-end examination is uploaded in the month of March. As per the academic calendar, the odd semester examination is conducted in the month of November-December, while the even semester examination is held in the month of April-May. NIT publicizes the academic calendar of its academic year before the inception of the new session i.e. in the month of June. The academic year of the institute begins in the month of July and completes in the month of May. It is divided into two semesters i.e. Odd (July-December) and Even (January-May). It holds all the details regarding the academic events scheduled to be conducted in both semesters viz. inception date of the semester classes, internal examination, term-end examination, declaration of result, holidays, semester break, etc.

NIT Patna Cutoff 2022

NIT Patna Cutoff 2022 for special rounds has been released by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). CSAB 2022 special round 2 seat allotment result has been released. Candidates can check the seat allotment result through the official website – csab.nic.in. The last date for seat acceptance and online reporting for admission is November 5. Physical reporting for candidates who have confirmed their seats will take place till November 9.
