PUCHD Admissions Card 2022
Punjab University (PUCHD) has published the PUCHD admit card 2022 for the upcoming semester exams on its official website @puchd.ac.in. The PUCHD admit card for all PG courses is now available online. As a result, all enrolled students can go to the PUCHD website and download the PUCHD Admit Card 2022.
To download the PUCHD admit card 2022 online, students must first enter their login credentials, which include their name, father’s name, mother’s name, and registration number. It should be noted that the Punjab University exam authorities will not release the pushed Admit Card 2022 in an offline mode.
How to Download PUCHD Admit Card 2022?
All eligible students taking the PUCHD Examination 2022 are advised to bring the PUCHD Admit Card 2022, as well as a valid photo ID proof, to the exam hall. To obtain the PUCHD Admit Card 2022, follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Go to the Punjab University website at @puchd.ac.in.
Step 2: Go to the homepage’s Menu section and click on the “Download Roll Number” link.
Step 3: The Admit Card page will appear, and you should now click on the PUCHD Admit Card for Private Candidates.
Step 4: A login page will appear. Enter your login information and click the Submit button.
Step 5: The PUCHD Admit Card 2022 will be displayed on the screen in pdf format.
Step 6: Check and double-check the information printed on it, then save/download it for future reference.
Candidates must bring the PUCHD Admit Card 2022 and a valid photo ID to the exam centre without fail. Because the examiner will check these documents for verification purposes. If students do not bring their PUCHD Admit card 2022 to the exam, the exam invigilator will not allow them to take the Punjab University Semester Exams 2021.

Highlights of the PUCET 2022
- Punjab University Common Entrance Test is the name of the exam (PU CET )
- Punjab University, Chandigarh is the organizing body for the PU CET 2022.
- PU CET 2022 Application Mode: Online PU CET 2022 Exam Mode: Offline
- PU CET 2022 Exam Medium: English Exam Duration: 70 minutes for each section
- UG B.Pharmacy, B.Sc (Hons), and BHMS are the courses available (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
- Law, journalism, public health, disaster management, technology, engineering, arts, and computer science are some of the PG courses available.
Application Form for PU CET 2022
The candidate must ensure that the eligibility criteria for the course they are applying for are met. The candidate must fill out the PU CET 2022 application form online and then print it.
Candidates must submit the following additional documents with their PU CET 2022 application form to the head office in Chandigarh before the deadline:
- Candidate’s mark sheets of all qualifying exams
- Candidate’s address proof
- Candidate’s identity proof
- Candidate’s photographs (as specified in the application form)
Application Fee for PU CET 2022
- Candidates in the General Category must pay INR 2175.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PWD) must pay INR 1088.
A fee of INR 575 is required for each subject (both general and reserved).
Candidates can pay the fee online (via credit card, debit card, or net banking) or offline (SBI eChallan).
Eligibility Criteria for PU CET 2022
Before applying for the PU CET 2022, candidates should be aware of the following eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must have passed or appeared in the 10+2 Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any equivalent exam administered by a recognised board or university, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects.
Note: Candidates who have passed or appeared in the 10+2 Examinations of Mahila Gram Vidyapeeth, Allahabad, are not eligible to take the PU CET (BHMS) Entrance Test, as this institution will be de-recognized by Punjab University, Chandigarh. Candidates can find a complete list of recognised universities on the PU CET UG official website.
- Candidates must be Indian citizens. Foreign citizens will be able to apply through the NRI quota.
- To be eligible to apply for the PU CET 2022, candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2022.
Candidates for the PU CET PG 2022 must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination (bachelor’s degree program or equivalent from a recognized university) for a specific course with a minimum of 50 percent -55 percent marks (depending on the course). Candidates who are in their final year and taking their qualifying exams are also eligible to apply for PU CET PG 2022, provided they pass their qualifying exams by the time of admission.

Seats will be reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Disability (PWD), and other categories as determined by the Chandigarh Administration or Punjab University, Chandigarh.
The following eligibility criteria will apply to Physically Handicapped candidates:
- Candidates with Locomotor disabilities of the lower limbs ranging from 50% to 70% are given first priority.
- 2nd preference – Candidates with Locomotor Disabilities of the Lower Limbs ranging from 40% to 50%
Candidates who are blind (including color blindness) or deaf and dumb will not be able to take the PU CET 2022.
Admit Card for PU CET 2022
- After successfully registering, candidates will be issued an admit card.
- Candidates can obtain their admit cards from the PU CET UG 2022 and PU CET PG 2022 official websites.
- Candidates will need their login id and password created during registration to obtain their PU CET 2022 admit card.
- The general examination instructions are printed on the back of the PU CET 2022 admit card.
Candidates must provide the following information on their PU CET 2022 admit card:
- Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall unless they have an admit card.
- Candidates must print multiple copies of their admit cards and keep them safe because they will need them for verification at each stage of the admission process.
- Candidates must ensure that all information on their admit card is correct. If any detail is found to be incorrect, candidates must raise an immediate concern.

Candidates must note that PU CET UG 2022 is conducted only on the Punjab University campus in Chandigarh.

Exam Pattern for PU CET 2022
The paper will be divided into six sections according to the PU CET UG 2022 Exam pattern:

Each section will be of 70 minutes and carry questions of 2 marks each. Negative marking for 0.25 will be applicable to incorrect answers.

PU CET 2022 Score
- The PU CET 2022 results will be released in the second week of September 2022. (tentatively).
- The candidate can download his or her scorecard from the official PU CET 2022 website once it is made available online.
- Individual scorecards will not be mailed to the candidates.
- The PU CET score and merit list will be determined solely by the candidate’s performance in the PU CET 2022.
To obtain their scorecard, candidates must follow the steps outlined below.
- Candidates must first access the official website.
- Candidates must then click on the link “Click here to check PU CET (U.G. & BHMS) – 2022 Entrance Test Result” to access the PU CET 2022 results.
- Candidates must then select the stream to which they have applied and check the results for that stream.
Answer Key for the PU CET 2022
After the exam, the PU CET 2022 answer key will be posted on the official website. If students believe there is an error in their marking, they must write an official letter to the exam conducting body within two days of the answer key’s release.
Seat Reservation for PU CET 2022
Seats have been reserved for PU CET 2022. The following list provides a detailed overview of seat reservations for PU CET 2022:
- One seat is reserved for a student of foreign origin nominated by the Indian government.
- 1 seat is reserved for a student from a state or union territory that lacks such facilities, as well as repatriates from Myanmar (Burma), Sri Lanka, and other countries.
- Two seats are reserved for students from rural areas.
- One seat is reserved for a Border Area student.
- Two seats are reserved for single female children who do not have male siblings.
- One seat is reserved for students with diseases such as cancer, AIDS, or thalassemia.
- Additional seats will be made available as needed for children of officers who served during the Kargil war.
Merit List for the PU CET 2022
The following categories will be used to create the merit list for candidates taking the PU CET 2022:
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biotechnology
- Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Sciences
- Mathematics only
The written exam is worth 75% of the merit list, while the 12th board scores are worth 25%.
Counseling at PU CET 2022
The PU CET 2022 counseling will be done online. Counseling for UG will begin in the third week of August 2022. (tentatively). For admission to the various courses, candidates must fill out an online preference form. Seats will be assigned based on the PU CET 2022 Merit List. Some of the most important aspects of PU CET counseling are as follows:
- The counseling schedule will be available on the Punjab University website. Candidates must keep an eye on that for accurate information.
- The candidate must pay the Counselling fee either online (via credit card/debit card/net banking) or in person at the University.
- Candidates will be assigned a seat based on their performance in the PU CET 2022 merit list and provisional admission letter.
- Candidates must report to the counseling centre on time with all required documents (10th and 12th Mark Sheets, Aadhar Card, etc.) and the counseling fee.
- The candidate’s application will be rejected if he or she fails to report on time or pay the counseling fee.
- Seats will be assigned online, so candidates should check the University website on a regular basis.
- Candidates should take their time filling out their preferences and options. After they have locked in their preference, no changes will be permitted.
- The admission dates and reporting deadlines will be posted on the Punjab University website alongside the Merit list.
