Vinod Gupta School of Management IIT Kharagpur is popularly known as VGSoM IIT KgP is one of the first management establishments within the IIT. The institute has been maintaining a good placement record over years & students also receive lucrative salary packages during its placement drives. The final report of VGSoM IIT Kharagpur Placements 2022 has been released. According to the report, the highest salary offered was INR 31.89 LPA which is nearly 20.3% higher as compared to the previous year. Average salary also increased by around 5% & stood at INR 19.36 LPA.

During the placement drive, recruiters came from various sectors. The highest number of offers were made from the Consulting sector (28) followed by the Operations sector (26). The highest salary of more than INR 30 LPA was made from the Operation sector. Students received job roles like Analyst, Consultant, Program Manager, Management Trainee etc.

The final report of the 2023 summer internship placement drive has also been released. According to the report, 96 students registered to participate in the placement drive & all of them received internship opportunities. The highest & average stipend stood at INR 3 Lakhs per month & INR 1.36 Lakhs per month respectively. There was a participation of 30 recruiters during the summer internship placement drive.

Accenture, Amazon, Deloitte, ITC, Wipro, ZS Associates & many more reputed recruiters participated in the placement drive.

VGSoM IIT Kharagpur Placements 2022 Report

During the 2022 placement drive, more than 20 recruiters visited the campus. Major recruiters included Accenture, Amazon, Deloitte, ITC, Wipro, ZS Associates etc. The total batch strength was 97 & all of them got hired. 

Recruiters came from various sectors. Among all the sectors, Consulting & Operation sectors dominated the placement drive. Most of the placement offers came from the Consulting domain followed by the Operations domain.

The highest salary offered was INR 31.98 LPA whereas the average salary & median salary stood at INR 19.36 LPA & INR 18.08 LPA respectively. Average salary stood at INR 28.75 LPA for the top 10 percentile, INR 27.05 LPA for the top 25 percentile & INR 23.37 LPA for the top 50 percentile. The lowest salary offered was INR 10 LPA.
