CUSAT CAT 2022 Exam Pattern

This exam is only available in online format. For each course, the exam pattern and syllabus are different. Multiple-choice questions are included in this exam.

Only English is available for the questions. For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. No marks will be deducted if you leave a question unanswered. As a result, candidates must be cautious when answering the questions.

The examination will last three hours. To be listed in the appropriate rank list, candidates must receive a minimum of 10 points. This criterion for minimum marks does not apply to students in the SC/ST category. The number of questions on the exam varies depending on which courses students choose. The total number of questions asked for all other courses, such as M.A. Hindi, MCA, M.Sc., M.A. Applied Economics, M.Voc., is 150, and the total number of marks is 450. The division of the questions is determined by the course you prefer.

Preparation Tips

  • Prepare a timetable before you begin your preparation so that you can finish your portions within the allotted time. When making a schedule, make sure to give each subject equal weight.
  • Make a schedule with a realistic goal in mind. You should be able to study for 7-8 hours per day with ease. As a result, plan your schedule in this manner.
  • It is critical to grasp each and every concept presented in the syllabus. It will be simple to answer any question of any difficulty level if you have a good understanding of the subjects.
  • Make an effort to identify your areas of strength and weakness. Make the necessary adjustments to your strategy. Concentrate your efforts on your areas of weakness.
  • It’s critical to boost your speed and accuracy. Solve as many problem sets as you can. While answering a question paper, you may be making numerous errors. Correct your errors before moving on to the next question paper.
  • For a better performance in the actual exam, practise question papers online.
  • Solving previous year’s question papers will assist you in grasping the pattern.
  • Whatever your level of preparation, you must remain stress-free in order to maximize the efficiency of your exam performance.
