Good to see Median Salary(7.6LPA) stats in placement report..very few insti reveals it..
Median salary gives approx. picture of placements figures :)
My Query:
It is possible to relocate my GD/PI 😃 from chennai to BLR..
Mine GD/PI is scheduled in Chennai and that too on monday...my mgr will kill me if i ask one more leave(Already too many :D)

Regarding the questions asked in the form I feel like i dont have anything to back up for achievements or even for the academic achievements column so is it ok to leave them blank. Will it give any bad impression on my application. I would like to know the kind of importance answering the questions will have on the selection process ..........please reply.....

Its not advisable to leave it blank..Regarding achievements, you write whatever you think as ur achievements and it need not to be par with other's acheivements. some of the interview q's may be askd from what you write in the application..

I've not got attested in te copies of my marksheets and i've also not sent copies of my certificates that back my achievements though i've the originals with me..will tat b a problem??

hi ramya,

as mentioned in the app form checklist, there is no need of attesting the mark sheets or sending proof for achievements. hope no one is so eager to check all these achievements.:-o

please call up the admissions office and ask them for a change...it will be entertained if u have a genuine reason..

hey i haven't received the form still...i am in bangalore...is there any source do get the form online...when is the last date of sending the form back...i called up the office but they say wait...is there any1 there who is with the same problem...do reply..and @seniors plz tell me what to do..is therany other way to communicate with the admissin office...

Hi,

If I am not wrong , it was mentioned in the Application Checklist that Attested marksheets have to be sent. I called them and confirmed on the same. With regards to achievement certificates, it will be enough if you could have them handy during day of your interview.....

Moreever as far as I know, the attestation in the form is for those people who are in the final year of studies. It is not applicable for all. As far as I know, I believe its good enough if we could send the attested copies of marksheets if we have completed our course of studies.

I specifically asked the guy I talked to in BIM - that I have completed my degree and have got separate attestations in the marksheets - even then he insisted that I 'do what is said in the form'. I know that this is quite irrational - but this is the irrational b-schools admissions season, case in point being IIM I. So we all better do what they say.....

Is it possible that a request for changing my GD/PI centre to Bangalore would be entertained? Since Bangalore is not an interview centre AFAIK?

I got the reply from admission dept. this year bangalore is not a center for GDPI..though you can request to rescheduled for some other date..
I got diff. date after reschedule.Hope it helps.

i have also done the same mistake.
i didnt get the marksheets attested but i have posted them.
i just now called admin office and told them my mistake.
they told me to submit the attested copies on 20th in chennai gd/pi centre(ifmr) to a person called PRABHAKARAN.no worries.

Hey puys I just got a mail from BIM asking me to send a confirmation mail for atending the GDPI process. Also they said either send application before 13th or bring it with you during GDPI.

I have not received any such mail. Did they reply to a mail sent by you or did they themselves send a mail to you?

No.... actually I had sent them a mail in the morning regarding delay in my application form & got a reply from them just an hour back
