I visited last year's thread and I noticed that the wait list moved till 60 or 70 last year.. Anyways, WL 8 in OC is a sure convert.. No doubt.. Jus Chill out.. Dude.. Wait till 21st... U ll surely b selected.. All The Best.. Dude.
hey guys i received the offer letter....wat happens to this 50k if v dont join later....then wat for is the checklist "at the time of registration"... when is the registration dates... pls help
You will be refunded the amount barring 1000 which is as per norm. Regarding registration, most probably it will be on 2nd of July as we had it last year. On registration day, you will be giving the DD for remaining amount.
yaa.. evn i too feel(hope) dat der vl b better WL mvmt dis yr since da sale of applications closed after da declaration of results.. So all dose candidates who got high percentile got chance to apply nd da same r also eligible for top 15 institutes... so ders high chance dat majority of da BIM call getters also got cals frm better institutes... nd results of dose wer not declared wen BIM had its GDPI.. Also another reason bein increase in number of seats in IIMs (2 new), NITIE nd som top 15 colleges.. So lets hope dat nothin goes wrong nd der wil b huge mvmt in da WL.. be optimistic nd keep ur cool pals

Those who have received the offer letter please post its contents. No one in my family will be home this week (I go to office) and I hope the letter came thro speed post to be collected by some one. To whose favour and bank details, DD should be made any other registration related details...everything welcome
its nt the results yet to come, the results that were released dueing the GD/PI process wud also made a difference..(IMT-G, TAPMI..etc)
being at WL-8 i think u dont need to worry much dear friend.. i m pretty sure that u r gonna make it.. upto my knowledge 3 of my friends r not gonna join BIM who r selected in BC category.. that makes a good way for u.. advance CONGRTAS:D

By mentionin da 2 IIMs i mean der s definitely an increase in number of better options for high percentile candidates.. alsodont 4get dat all the OBC candidates except TN who qualify to IIMs (ranchi or others) comes under OC in BIM..

I think all are impressed to the possible extend by VTV.....and by CSK tooo....all the best foralll the puys in WL....i feel all those who are in WL will convert....it has happened in the past....because we can't say that all those who are in WL will join (they willl be in WL in some insts too)...so the WL will move very fast....

Hey do you feel that wait list movement for BC move .... Most of the persons were not sure about their percentile when they wrote CAT this time unlike the last year's CAT where people can calculate their percentile soon after their test and apply for suitable colleges ...And very few institues had their application last date postponed to march(after the result) and BIM is one such institute.So i dont think comparing last year's waitlist this time would be plausible.This time even OC wait list movement will not be the same like last years ..the movement will be slow i guess:wow:
i believe that this year wait list will hardly move..... bim is the almost the last college of this year.... they cannot go to any other college mostly......
do u have any idea about what are the colleges which are yet to release theri final list apart from IIM Ranchi and Rohtak......
anyway i dont have the much hope of converting it..... if it happens well n good,if not too,it's ok....

1) BIM is jus 45 mins drive from both Trichy and Thanjavur.. I have a lot of commitments in Trichy & my parents R at Thanjavur.. So it helps.. It definitely helps.
2) My friend has converted the BIM call.. So I'd be having a great time with her at BIM.
3) I'm a food connoisseur, esp of south Indian food.. So I'm not gonna hav to eat Chappathi, Sabji, Rajma and stuffs of these sort at BIM..:cheers:
4) I can go out and feast at KANNAPA's, PANDIAN, THAI, MERIDIAN, FLAMES n MANGUDIYAAR's whenever I find time.. :cheers::cheers:.
5) I believe that South Indian Girls are better vis a vis their north indian counterparts:o (No Groans.. pls.. Puys. This is my personal opinion). At least this comparison is not disallowed in PG. So BIM will keep my eyes engaged.. :splat:Hopefully. 6) I can develop lots of contacts here. Considering that my aim is to start a coaching institute in TRICHY in 4 yrs from now, the idea of studying at BIM is not bad at all.
All these R based on the premise that my WL-10 (TN BC) will get cleared.
OC moved upto 73 from pagalguy's last posting. may be it could have moved more than that.
for 38 oc seats it moved till wl-73 right?? for 30 BC it moved till wl-31 last year.. hope i m correct.. considering cat fiasco, addition of 2 IIM's and waiting for results of few other institutes which rank higher than bim can we expect movement in BC atleast till wl-40 for this year... and for my personal advantage i expect it to move till 55.. as i m in bc wl 54 ..this is from my personal optimistic view.. dear friend..dont lose hope.. lets be confident till end of june.. even if we dont make it, wit this years experience i m pretty sure we r gonna make next time..ATB
