Hi All and Congrats to those who ve converted and All the Best to those who are in WL.

Just to intoduce myself,
I did my B.Tech from Bharathidasan Institute of Technology (BIT),Trichy:clap:
and currently I am working in UST Global, Chennai for the past 27 months.

I ll be sending my DD soon. I want to know

1.Anyone planning to buy laptop?? Can anyone suggest me what to buy??

2. Regarding the Bank loan, will they give loan for the Entire Fee that we will be paying?? if so, will we get the 50 K refunded from the bank??

I see people posting thier WL No and Category in the thread which is not present/updated in the excel sheet. Kindly update it so that WL candidates can get a better picture of the WL movement.

Just a Quick Info for OC candidates as derived from excel sheet :

Only 30 candidates have filled their data for OC Category and out of which:
Selected and Joining = 2
Selected and Not Joining = 3
WL Candidates = 25

Total Seats = 38
WL Released = 100
Total Candidated(Selected/Waitlisted)= 138
--------------------------------------------------------

So in all, out of 138 ppl only 30(mere 21%) have updated their data due to which we are not able to get the clearer picture of WL movement.

Hence i request you all Selected/Waitlisted candidates who all are visiting the thread to add their data in the sheet.

Just curious abt the fact that - do u people watch hindi movies there......!!! I thot only illiterate south people dont know hindi... surprised to see that even higher educated people like u are very poor in hindi......

I had the toughest time in my life in chennai while I ws there for BIM interview.....I had gone alone.... so was punished a lot.... some normal people neither undrstand hindi nor English...I was acting like a dumb.... Bt was a lovely experienced...oftn I enjoyed my helplessness there...



my whole point, an exercise in futility. Bro, wen like minded ppl get together, forget language....my body language will induce positive vibes in you. Thats the point I intended to drive home. Gesture needs to be appreciated and not scorn at "south Indian" version of hindi. unfortunately the bulb dint glow on u.

Aare yaar tum log majak samajhte ho ki nahi.... my PG account was expiring I was nt being able open any thread, so I got a notice to post nething...so I started posting something out of humor... since then I m being dragged to someone or the other by some comment...All of u have takn it seriously so as I....

I understand ur move ,,nt that i m a fool.... My bulb's guaranted one... so no chance of fuse.... Can take u lightly....

No one can answer your queries if u are prejudiced ...!: If u intend to trust wat the seniors/puys gotto say abt ur queries, then the intention of this thread is achieved otherwise theres no point in putting across ur doubts in this forum..! Seniors have already answered to all the doubts regarding region based bias/north indian food/anti north spat.. etc then y is this issue raised again and again.. ??
And remember b4 posting anything.. u aint talkin face to face..One wrong word could lead to misconception and mishap, which i believe is the case here..!

P.S : And Oh yea we do watch Hindi movies, I saw HOUSEFULL recently..

for god sake keep your mouth shut. I am basically from bihar , so when i went to delhi for schooling , i was marked as bihari der , not as fellow north indian . While pursuing my b.e in bhopal , i still faced the same views. So you should feel that if a fellow north indian sees other with a biased view,.,.,how come it be possible that someone in the south would shower all of there love on you.Frm the recent views of fellow puys here ,.,i think that i would be in a good position der , if i get a chance to be at that place. Grow up , stop cribbing .

I had a similar doubt. Will we be refunded? or It will be deducted in the load itself?

And also as ishwaryanag asked, I would also like to know about the entrepreneurship clubs at BIM.

A couple of weeks back I read something called IECD (Institute for Entrepreneurship and Career Development) in education plus (The Hindu). Though this course is not intended for us, Does students of BIM play any role in this course?

I can assure you that you will have a wonderful time in terms of learning and relationships in BIM if you decide to join the institute....

BIM is one of the very few colleges which expect us to sign the code of conduct even before registration.... This shows how much importance BIM gives to discipline and integrity.... You are safer in BIM than any other parts of the country....

U posted something abt education loan from UBI, they give a relaxed interest rate for admission in to BIM. Right nw I m unable to find that post from the thread...
Do they have this norm for all their branches in India or just the local branch....??
i.e. If I apply here, in Orissa, do they consider the special privilege for BIM or I will hav to apply only in Trichy....? Because here the bank officials dont know about BIM...

I need to know about the internet facilities available in the BIM Hostel. Are we having the internet connectivity being given to hostelites out there in rooms (either LAN or WiFi) ?
