Hi Puys.. I went to CANARA BANK(CB) again to garner some more info. The following are the excerpts.
# The Bank will not process ur loan till U submit the Bona fide certificate from the college.
# Rate of Interest is around 11%.
# As in all the other banks, CB doesn't require any security for loans upto 4 lacs.
# For Loans above 4 lacs, U must show security in the form of Movable/immovable assets.
# If u were to use the property(Land) as security, U have to submit the Document of the concerned property. The document will be held by the bank till U repay the entire amount. This clearly means that U can't get back the property document for a min of 7 yrs(2 yrs of study + 5 yrs of repaying period).
# So, I've decided to take a loan for 4 lacs and pay the remaining amount out of my pocket.
guys as per my ward no i approached ANDHRA bank but it is a newly opened branch here.... MANAGER is saying that he cannot process the loan becoz there is no employee in officer postion ... he asked me to approach after august.....
nw most probably i will get loan frm credila but i want to knw is it a safer option ???
or should i wait for andhra bank or should i ask my parents to pay the fees???? 
plz help me in this...........

the last date for the confirmation of today converted ppl is 24th and if any of the already converted ppl opt out during this time,by 25th u ll know the movement. ATB

Hi Folks,
Have one important query. I approached SBI and realized that it will take sometime (3 months) for them to sanction my Loan. So they suggested that its better if I could complete the loan formalities at the campus on 05 th July. So my query is
1. Will the formalities for the loan be done at the campus itself or is it like only our queries will be addressed and we have to approach the bank in our area.
2. What is the disadvantage of taking up loan at the campus.
3. I it like , I will complete the formalities at the campus and will report to SBI only for my Documents verification?
Please post details. Else if someone who had taken up the loan at BIM campus last year please Private message me, so that I can contact you personally and clarify my doubts.

Hi Puys,
Got the loan details from a few banks like SBI, Andhra Bank and Canara Bank. To add to the above, Canara Bank offers the lowest interest rate of 9.75% with an extra 0.5% for female candidates in 2 options (for 4 lakh and below):
1. Equal Proportion (About 66% fees in each sem paid by bank)
2. First 2 sem by individal and last 4 by bank.. Approx..
Interest accrues will be loweer in option 2..
