i am not sure about the shortlisting criterion but BIM admin told that its 70+... .

I have KIAMS interview on 24th at Baroda... n it want be possible to reach at channai on time , so will it be possible to change the date ???

The placement report for 2010 is not out yet? Batch 25 placement report is old.
Please throw some light about the courses offered, I am interested in Operations, but the % of people opting for operations is around 3%. Why is the ratio so low?

the following can be produced as proof for Work Ex.
A letter from your company HR, stating your date of joing and number of months in company etc..
This is bit difficult as asking these in cos won't show a good face.

Better option is to show the joining letter having your joining date and the latest month payslip.

Also generally colleges doesn't consider work ex less than a year. I don't know about BIM, just a general case scenario!!

For work experience proof of certificate of training and actual work ex is asked (I work in Infy). But I dont have anything like that. I ve the salary slips of all the months. Will that suffice. And I have the certificate for a paid internship that I got based on merit for 2 months in a tech startup . Can I include that in the work ex column?

Kirubakaran,

The letter you would generate in Harmony would suffice for work experience in Infosys - if you are able to get that you dont need to show salary slips and all (in case you got more questions about this, PM me). As far as paid internship is concerned - unless you did that after finishing college, and you got proper relieving letters from that company, i dont think it would count under full time employment. Hope this clarifies your doubts.

The cut-off for all category are available in the website. I don't think you can get the data of number of students shortlisted in each category. You will receive letter with details of your slot for GD/PI. Please wait until then. All the best !

Ok... I find it a bit strange though, being in Trichy I think this institution would have the best possible access to BHEL, so I was under the impression that Operations would be a key area in BIM....

I've got 82.23%ile in CAT with not so good acads and belong TN-BC category.
Is there any realistic possibility of converting the call if I perform well in GD/PI.
What is the weightage of CAT score in final conversion.
Is there any student in current batch with such a low score.

Regarding the paid internship thing, the experience was for 2 months just after finishing my B.Tech and certificate says I completed a full internship in the said period. Should I include that in my work ex ?
