Even I din't get any tab/link to download the detailed application form....! anybody called up the tiss guys yet...?

Is there no concept of wait list in TISS? I mean, if a certain someone isn't able to join a particular course at TISS, wouldn't the seat be offered to someone else who was just behind him/her?


Precisely My point!!! That IS what my query was...
So 59 is just a number, and not a pointer to how many would be selected...
only the "Suitable" are welcome is a point often stressed upon by TISS..
Hope I make the cut!! :oops:

Last year there were also waiting list..
Wat I know is that ...IN OBC category, only WL 1 was cleared.....
so u can imagine...

Buddy, If my calculations are correct there would be approximately 15-16 seasts for OBC-NC this year right??

ya the DAF hasnt come out on the site ....normally the site is slow to update ...thats what i have heard ..prob it might come by tonight ....

goin by the account u mentioned, i wud clarify one pt. TISS had kept some weight, around 30%, for work ex and acad records....but in past years..

from this year onwards the admin committee has decided not to put that wtg anymore. the same was notified specifically thru an Interview article on Pagalguy only, where our course' chairperson was asked the same questiosn and she had stated that clearly (what i jus wrote above)

i'l post in the link to that article shortly,

till then keep ur spirits up, for work ex or no work ex, everybdy has fair chance...

thanks, awaiting the link to the interview..also, thanks for the number of the gd/pi call getters in recent yrs. im positive this figure was 4.5k+ for 2008-10 tho 😃

As you have suggested Awasthappa for HR basics. Which one should I refer to HR Management or HR Management Text AND Cases?


The book I suggested is a HR textbook....This book shall give you an understanding of HR management and how and what are the functions of HR...Once you read this then you will be in a good position to perform well in a HR case-study....And also it will be useful during PI as well...

Hi friends,

I have just called to TISS.

They told that
1) DAF will be available from Monday (1 feb) onwards.

2) Detailed score card will be given in a month

3) GD PI will be in march starting from somwhere around mid march

The DAF forms arent out yet..
atleast were not an hour ago, when i checked.

Individual scores will be out starting February 8th.

Till then read up on some topics related to your courses.

GD PI dates start 14th March.
TISS GD PIs normally go on for a few days.

just a little doubt !!

i am from hyderabad and the dates for gd pi are given as 14-21 march
should i have to be present at tiss all the days or i would be notified about the dates on which i am scheduled on ??
