SCMHRD is saying they have tie up with Bank so take loan through them(SCMHRD) for faster processing and less documentation...

no such scheme is in place at the moment
but SBI does have a "scholar's loan" wherein they provide fast loans for top b-schools including SIBM-P

Can you tell me about RTGS mode of payment.
Go to your bank and tell them you want to do RTGS transfer. They will give you a form, like the one we get while getting a demand draft made, in that fill SIBM-P account details (as given in the fee structure pdf). Fill that form, and write your name and snap id in the message box. Give that form to the bank and it will be done. 😁

Dejected while writing this. Could not get a loan within the stipulated time. Arranged for around 2 Lakhs from my savings. Emailed the registrar (who the admissions people redirected me to) for some concession in my case. Nothing happened. Leaving for NMIMS gdpi 4th morning so tomorrow is when I try to get in touch with the registrars office for the last time.
Unfortunately, it seems probable that I won't be joining anyone of you at SIBM. Unfortunately a person like me (who has no family member paying for his education) and could not get a bank loan in 7 working days (since 21st) has no value for the people at SIBM.
All the best to those fortunate enough to hold on to the seat they deserved. It seems like I can not. And I tried.

Thi is just not done by SIBM.
I hope they do understand the situaiton here once u take it up in person, and if they dont then it just shows poorly on SIBM. Theres no rational and logic behind providing such short time for submission of fees when a lot of candidates fund their fee by loan
i dont know what their hurry is
RvP u have a whole bunch of calls, if things dont work out it is SIBM'S loss man, not urs.
for the waitlists like me, we have only 7 days for paying fees. and when i talked in banks ,no banks will provide loans within 7 days..wondering what will happen to waitlist candidates now 😞

Hey, what you are saying is hard to believe. You would be in Mumbai soon. So take a 4 hour train to Pune, and go to main/big SBI branch there. Talk about Scholar loan. I ask you to go to Pune because, since Symbiosis is there, branches there would have process for giving out loans for symbi.
So friend move your ass and get running.

Already have spoken to SBI and PNB in Delhi, they said it would be very hard for me to get a loan before the deadline. They said it would take atleast 10-12 working days for me to get the money.
Also I don't have an additional security (required) or a guarantor (required). I don't have a father who can help me take out the loan. I only had the savings I mentioned.
Seniors have been very helpful with suggestions and help all round the clock. The saddest part about not being able to pay 3.75 lakhs in 10 working is that I really formed a bond with the seniors I met at SIBM, through their Aspirant Relations Team, and those who helped me at OnBoard SIBM.
SIBM dream over. Those who could pay the fees are more fortunate and should relish this opportunity.
I wish SIBM could have helped someone they deemed fit for admission a little more. No complaints from seniors, SIBM seniors rock.

Hmm Sad!!! Don't worry dude you have sooo many calls.. You ll convert at some other good college.
About SIBM well its just that it is a private institution. Also there would be many who would be unwilling to pay the entire amount right now (as they have other calls) even though they have the money. So people would come up with all sorts of reasons not to pay the full amount.
SIBM has to deal with all of this, so can't blame the institute too. They can't risk their seats remaining vaccant.

Look your tone is really down, buck up
Some facts: PSU bank branches at different places work at different speed. Process wise the loan can be processed in max 2 days. And for SBI scholar loan you do not require any security. Check this out STATE BANK OF INDIA :: INDIA's LARGEST BANK
So do not sulk yet. Listen to this:
give your interview in nmims on 4th->got to Pune the same day->look for a big/main sbi branch on 5th Mar (not all SBI branches provide scholar loan, only the big branches do)-> Beg them to be fast or something-> go over to SIBM P campus-> personally talk to people there in admin team to ask for a grace period of a day or two (personal touch always helps)-> try to make a deal of some kind-> i m sure they will understand, no one is your enemy here.
Look I do not know how serious u r abt SIBM, but if u r, then it's not the time to quit. Its time to look for options. The game is not over till 7th evening till the bank branches do not close.

Hey its very sad....special on part of SIBM management....they teach management...can't set realistic time lines. they don't have tie up with banks who knows SIBM and gives instant loan....
Its not done....I am waitlisted...due to loan issue i was not making my mood to join SIBM. Loan was rejected by one of education loan company who was asking for collateral security to cities which i don't have.
Will try with SBI one list is declared,,,, however will not be disappointed as I not very much fond of SIBM even though i don't have any other option SCMHRD already reject and no other call...may keep working for one more year...already 4 year...

hmmm why bank rejected the issuing of loan, u cant get any loan on waitlist letter, process will start only when the wailist is converted to confirm list but i am worried about 7 days time,no bank can issue loan is 7 days.. a big concern for me too

please first go to SBI, MIDC Hinjewadi branch(timings: weekdays 10.30am-4.30pm, saturday 10.30-12.30) for scholar loan application as this branch is notified by SBI for SIBM candidates. Prepare your scholar loan application file (carry all possible documents originals with xerox). For scholar loan security, guranter are not required. Your parents will be co-borrower with you. Even your father's salary limit or form 16(if you have good) is not mandetory.
Then carry your approved file to SBI, RACPC, 5th floor, swarget, pune office.
They will sanction your loan application. Request for early sanction.

Thats right ..no one will issue on waitlist letter..however in my case it was rejected before reaching to that stage in want of other documents and securities which Bank asks for ----if your institute has no tie up with Banks...
