Guys, I have a silly query but I think i should ask before submit the form, in the educational details, there is a coulmn for " QUALIFICATION". What should we write in there.

I am planning to register using Internet and payment using Axis Bank.
Now The problem i am facing is i dont know what i have to do in Experience field. It has twodrop down start and end date.
Now if this is my first job then should i just write the start date and leave the other empty.
Also for subjects how can i mention them.just science is enough or do i need to write everything
Also after doing XAT registration when do we need to do the The XLRI registration after getting the Brochure or some does that needs to be filled before getting brochure from the branch. Also as i read in the previous posts XLRI reg is for applying to the institutes .So will that need extra payment

Two problems facing while filling xat 2011 form
1) Wrk ex "End Date"..wat shld one fill here..m still pursuing my job
2)Total Experience in "Years"..my wrk ex is months..9 months
what should i fill ..a)9 months or b) .9 or ???

I had called their helpline reg the same and they told me to fill in your exp till the date you are filling application.
for second question. fill 9 month as 0.75 yrs, .9 doesn't make sense although commonly used..

1.give da date of filling ur application.
2.jst science should be enough.
3.u can register 2 both at da same time.

1)after registering in d confirmation page,d names of d associate instis were visible,but in d final submission it wasnt showing.wat 2 do?i have printed d pay-in-slip though.
2) in d qualification under 10th n 12th i have written aisse,aissce
(all india secondary school examination,all india senior school certificate examination) as written in my passing certificates(cbse),its ok no.
3) i am not applying 2 xlri,but have marked it also in d associate instis,in case i later change my mind,will dat be a problem

This may sound a bit silly but I did not mark XLRI in the associate institutes column in the XAT online form(Didn't notice it so marked only SPJain)!However I have applied seperately to XLRI. Will this pose any issues?

3. i think u have 2 register 4 xlri ,if u intend 2 give it a shot, else marking it in the insts list is of no use.

Ansuman's 3 question and Gerimox's questions were related.
The purpose of marking the associate institutes is that XAT will only share the results of the test with the institutes that you mark in the form. So if you mark an institute and do not fill the brochure there is no problem. However, if you apply to an institute but they do not have the marks it will be a problem.
Please note that this is my personal opinion based on prior experience and it would be best if you confirm it with the help line folks.
I have submited XAt and XLRI form online. When i finished doing for XLRI, in the end it stated that we need to send our 10,12 and btech marksheets and tansaction statement, Can anybody tell what it is it? and also do we need to send our certificates as in the form pdf it is only witten that just paste your Photo and sign and send it
I am facing a unique problem.While I registered successfully for XAT And XLRI.But now while filling up the form for XLRI its required to write the interview city.I do not remember the exact city I opted for while filling online.Now when I go to my account I am not getting the city I selected.I called up the help line and they informed we as candidates do not have an option of selecting interview city while filling online.But I remember I had selected between Chennai and Mumbai and there were like 4 cities to choose from.Any suggestions from anyone.:-(

While registering for XAT I did not mention any associate institutes. The names were not showing up.But I would like to apply to XIMB. Any idea puys wat to do now??
Also wanted to apply to both the courses BM and PMIR for XLRI.But chose only one course.Didnt know that the PMIR course was renamed as HRM.
Now since fees have been paid is there any way these can be rectified?

Please help,Is this a problem that all of us are facing,or some poor souls like me.No associate institutes are shown in my final confirmation though they were shown on the earlier page.Can we get an official take on this as i have seen this question many times but nobody has got a satisfactory answer.:-(
I think its OK. They haven't been displayed on anyone's application. I just sent mine as it is. I guess they would've stored them in the DB somewhere 😐

Now there can be 2 possibilities:
1. They are telling the truth and the list of institutes selected by the candidate is captured along with other information by the online application, just not displayed on the last page.
2. They are lying and information is not captured. But, the information is so trivial that they don't care whether it's properly captured by the online application or not.
Either case there is no need to worry about the institutes selected, just apply to your preferred institutes individually.

If more puys face the prob,then we can safely assume the former.More inputs on this particular problem are appreciated.
1 more thing that during the xlri registration,i am able to see my pincode in 1 window as a six digit number and in the other my state 'Maharashtra' as my pincode.Upon verifying my final confirmation to XAT ,i can see that in both the tabs for the pincode,i have correctly entered my pincode.Still i am facing this peculiar thing in the XLRI reg page;further the information is auto entered on this page and i cant do a damn thing to change it.
Anyone else faced this problem?
