Yes dude, alongwith the XLRi application, you have to send the XEROX copies of 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet and graduation certificate (you can send the last markshet if you havent got the certificate yet)
About the receipt, when ou download the pay-in-slip,you have to take the printout of it and have to pay the money in the respective AXIS Bankk branch!!! There are 3 slips viz. candidate copy, xlri copy and bank copy!!!
You have to paste the XLRI COPY in he space provided on the form in the prospectus you receive!!!

Buddy I have applied online and have already paid the fees online itself for XLRI.Total fees of Rs 1691 for two courses have been paid online.So I dont need to pay at AXIS bank. In tat case I guess I need to send the PA form along with the xerox copies of three certificates only

What does special envelope mean in our case of online payments ??? did you send by normal speed post/courier?

As far as I know once they receive the PP form they should send the prospectus.
Regarding the special envelope even I am still having this doubt and have not sent it yet.

You can send all the required documents in a normal envelope if you have made online payment. I called the XAT helpline and they confirmed this to me.

XAT AND XLRI REGISTRATION ARE SEPARATE.
YOU WILL HAVE TO APPLY FOR XIMB SEPARATELY.
NOW PEOPLE, before asking any queries please go through the previous posts on this thread. Many questions have been answered already.
I had called the XAT helpdesk number: 1800 102 1123. They say that on the final page the institutes are not displayed but the information is properly captured by the online application. As per them, the data is with them so no need to worry.
Now there can be 2 possibilities:
1. They are telling the truth and the list of institutes selected by the candidate is captured along with other information by the online application, just not displayed on the last page.
2. They are lying and information is not captured. But, the information is so trivial that they don't care whether it's properly captured by the online application or not.
Either case there is no need to worry about the institutes selected, just apply to your preferred institutes individually.
I too had the same problem... I selected 10 associate institutes... but none were displayed on the final submission page....
I called the the XAT Help line...
Me:- explained the problem that no institutes were displayed....
Helpdesk person:- There is some technical problem in displaying it. If you had selected the associate institutes, it would have properly registered.
Me:-Can u please see the database and verify whether 10 institutes have been properly registered(I gave him my XAT ID)
Helpdesk person:-I dont have the authority to access the database...
Me:-Is there anyone whom i should contact to get it verified...
Helpdesk person:-I dont know the phone number of that person...
Me:-If it has not been registered properly will I be able to apply to those institutes?
HelpDesk Person:-No
Me:-If it has not been registered properly, and if I come to know about it only when I apply to those colleges, whom should I hold responsible for the mistake?
HelpDesk Person:- For all the people who have registered, the final submission page will by default display only blank in the place of associate institutes....
Me:-Why is it so?
Helpdesk person:- I don't know
Look at the inconsistency in the person's replies....
Initially he told me its a technical problem, then he changed that it displays blank by default...
Guys, is everyone's final submission page displaying it blank???...please confirm....

1 more thing that during the xlri registration,i am able to see my pincode in 1 window as a six digit number and in the other my state 'Maharashtra' as my pincode.Upon verifying my final confirmation to XAT ,i can see that in both the tabs for the pincode,i have correctly entered my pincode.Still i am facing this peculiar thing in the XLRI reg page;further the information is auto entered on this page and i cant do a damn thing to change it.
Anyone else faced this problem?

The address is different for both the forms as both the forms end up in different departments.....
Why would you want to take a risk with such a thing...use separate envelopes bro !!

no question u need 2 send the 2 forms separately, as hector1 mentioned they r 2 diff. departments & 2 add xat is an exam conducted by xlri !!

I have put on hold my payment to XAT/XLRI...all of us lets wait till we get some more info,XL seniors from the adco please come forth and address this issue..
