I have another query which is a little different and I didnt come across anyone else with a similar issue anywhere in this thread. So here goes.
I completed engineering this year but I had a KT in sem 7 which I passed in reval. The reval results were out before the KT exam so I did not appear for the KT exam.
Now, Mumbai uni has withheld my 7th and 8th sem marksheets (a normal procedure for everyone who didnt appear for the KT exam knowing that they have passed in reval). I have approached the uni several times to get my 7th and 8th sem marksheets but they dont seem to be in any hurry and it doesnt seem likely that I will get those two marksheets before the deadline for XLRI admission.
So the only choice I seem to be left with is sending marksheets upto sem 6, which is also acceptable, since final year students can also apply, but then wont that make it look like I lost a year in engineering? cause while filling academic details, I have to mention that I started engineering in 2006.
I hope this wont affect my chances of getting a call in case I clear the cut offs in XAT. Any views on this please?
Atleast in XLRI, calls are given solely on the basis of XAT score. So chill!
In the XAT registration, What should be the "from" and "to" for the 10th and 12th columns? I finished my tenth in 2002. So should it be 2001 to 2002 or should it be the whole duration of my schooling? Because in Graduation im putting the duration as from 2004 to 2008(the whole duration of my college). I graduated in 2008.
Jitna i know, XLRI is not sending any mails to confirm the application status or to tell that they have received the XAT/XLRI form.
To check your application status, go to XAT / XLRI Online Registration and go to application status, log in with your XAT Id and check :)
I sent both the XAT & XL pp at the same time. They mailed me the Xat prospectus a month back, but I'm still awaiting the XLRI prospectus. Did any of u get the XLRI prospectus mailed? That way we can at least make out that our XLRI application has been accepted.
It seems they r in no hurry to send XLRI prospectus. i had made online payment n sent both XAT n XLRI forms a month back.i received the XAT prospectus in 2 weeks but the XLRI prospectus is still elusive. cald up the helpline sometime back.the operator said there is no way to confirm whther ur form has reached or not. u just hav 2 wait. no other option. i then asked her if there is any last date by which we can expect the prospectus n she said no to that as well. ( so helpfull is the help line ) i guess there is no othr option but to wait
Hey guys...I registered and payed online...but I forgot to save the transaction summary which I later read I was supposed to.Should I send the PP form without the transaction page summary?...I tried calling Xat care but nobody's pickin up.Help me out guys!

I used the Axis-Bank Payment mode toh got the XAT and XLRI bulletins from the Axis Bank itself.
Sorry can't help in PP mode. If the helpline says, they'll send so it will reach. though check once again since 16 days are left for deadlines to close.

i have made the payment using online gateway mode ,, they have wrtnn :-""The candidate has to enclose a copy of the XAT PP Form and send it by courier/registered post/speed post so as to reach XAT Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days of receiving the payment acknowledgement date.""
frm where i can receive this payment acknw date?? plzz helpp he bcz i have filled the foem 3 days back... nd they say that it has to reach within 7 days...
Friends, while filling the application form I dont remember whether the category was asked. If so, then I think I had entered as GENERAL. But I belong to OBC. Now that I have paid the fee and posted them the attachment from the prospectus, I need to edit my category. Is it possible? Kindly help me out as soon as possible.
Hello Puys, I was in same dilema as you all are in regarding the confirmation and authentication of reaching our forms to XAT and XLRI office so i was trying to call em up and finally my call was answered by lady on helpline number given on XAT WEBSITE she first asked me all the formal details as my XAT id, name, address telephone no, email id etc and told me to wait untill 20th nov as the APPLICATION STATUS will get activated by then on asking her regarding my status of application she said that if you are getting the message as 'APPLICATION UNDER PROCESSING' then it has reached us and the confirmation will be available to you on 20th november so we will hve to wait untill 20th nov to know exact position of our application form...so puys just chill out and relax and dont get panic....hope this clears the air reagarding application status queries...:clap:
